Well I have had a rather slow day here. Woke up very late for me and found it really difficult to get out of bed. Didnt make it very far on the walk with Moo before having to turn back home and crashed on the couch. Havent moved since. I feel lousy but cant really work out how I feel lousy other than completely and utterly exhausted. I am supposed to be on the 5 am train in the morning to Cardiff and not arriving home until 10 tomorrow night. I dont see how that is going to happen given that I cant get off the sofa right now and I still need to iron my clothes and pack a bag.
OH arrived home and has taken Moo out for a long walk to calm him down. Good job he came home because I dont think I could have made it out with him tonight.
I have been reading back a few pages and realise that I have lost my focus with regards to this being a money saving diary so I need to get back on track. Over the next few weeks I will really need to be very, very focused. So when I am feeling less tired I will sit down and set myself some challenges. For now I am going back under the throw and having a snooze. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Cherisong, do you need a reason for feeling lousy OTHER than being 'completely and utterly exhausted'?? That sounds like the exact reason for feeling lousy to me! Good luck for tomorrow - any chance of something non-iron just this once? Hopefuly you'll feel better once you've snoozed for several hours xx0

Cheri, we are all allowed a duvet day every now and again just because.....
Everything you are trying to do with your flat and the plans for Austria, along side a full time job, is going to take it out of you. How often do you tell people to be kind to themselves? Maybe time to be kind to yourself:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Thanks ladies
. Snoozing does not seem to have helped at all so I now have the shakes and feel even worse _pale_. I think I may be succumbing to something other than exhaustion. Mind you Mr C just asked me what I had for tea last night and:think: I couldnt remember (which usually means that I forgot to eat ) same answer for todays lunch although I do remember having porridge with blueberries and banana yesterday and today. he gave me a good telling off. I am now full of his famous spaghetti a la storecupboard/bottom of the fridge concoction.
I have just text (or should that be texted) the team to tell them that there is no way I can get on that train tomorrow. They have agreed and said that they are happy for me to skype in from home if I am feeling up to it.Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Awww Cheri, I am so glad Mr C is there to look after you and that you are not travelling at silly o'clock tomorrow. Another one here suffering complete and utter exhaustion, have spent since tea-time fighting tears and have given up and had a good old weep. Am sat here with a hot water bottle and mug of tea and feel much better. I hope that you are not coming down with anything and that a good old rest with lots of sleep does the trick.0

Aw Cheri, you look after yourself girl! xx Glad Mr C is feeding you and keeping an eye on you, and how lovely of work to be understanding, and how clever of you to recognise when things are just too much. Enjoy your rest tomorrow - don't want to hear about any feelings of guilt about not going to work! <stern face>

Thank you AGAIN ladies. TSL if it helps I was right there with you. Made worse by watching a DIY SOS big build on iplayer and bawled my eyes out.
I have identified my problem. I suffer with something called Menieres (which I tend to suffer more from when stressed) and I had an attack yesterday which tends to leave me exhausted. Whilst my team have been understanding I havent spoken to my boss yet. In my experience the best way to deal with this is stop everything and just rest up. So I am building up to phoning the boss and hopefully booking the week off on holiday. I am not technically sick but this is what I call managing my sick leave because if I dont stop I will be stopped for much longer.
Mr C indeed is a good man and I am very lucky, most of the time,to have him.
Cheery I am very interested in your cheeriness course and I have come across the Happiness Project and so I have subscribed. I read about one lady on my blog list (bibbitybob) who took up roller skating and that combined with yours made me think that I need to start doing some little things to increase my wellbeing. So I am open to suggestions (MSE style of course)Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar.
