Quick post because I REALLY need to start work. I only got home very late last night, managed to oversleep. Still I have already done most of the weeks hours already.
Ebay is going ok so far. Austria - very stressed, will update when I can. Things go very slowly in Austria and they are very thorough. Life is like a roller coaster at the moment.
Payday today so I will be looking at the budgets and tweeking. Good news I earned more money which was unexpected. I forgot that last months payrise was only for part of the month so that was a nice surprise. Also due a cost of living rise this month which was agreed as part of a three year deal three years ago so I am luckier than most. I expect this will be the last one for a while. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Aaargh! You've reminded me I MUST get some stuff on eBay! I will spend a 30-minute burst this afternoon going through the box and seeing what I can write descriptions for. I wonder when the next free listing will be? I have a few items of Clinique makeup that can go on (mini's from the recent GWP, plus at least one more mascara) so will get those listed as I know they sell well and the descriptions are easy! Well done on yours - decluttering AND making money - gotta be good!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

How did your ebaying go EH?
Another Austrian deadline came and went without anything happening. Very frustrating but I am trying to remain calm.
Budgets done and set for the month. Hopefully it will be better than last month. I feel very focused. Will update a bit more when I take some time to write it all down. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Morning, refreshed and calm is the order of the day. I have a hairdressers appointment and I am considering cancelling it. Hmmmm, I went for 12 months without getting my hair done and looking at photos proved that I looked like a witch. Still its a lot of money. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. I'm the wrong person to advise you to save money today. I have had the week from hell  and am now setting off for a bit of retail therapy to cheer myself up
and to make me think of something else
Decisions will be made, but not today!:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
good for you Maty. Sometimes it is best to put real life on hold and chill out. After all it helps you deal with the longer slog of it all. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Very pleased with myself. Just "found" a renewal insurance letter addressed to Mr C - he is hopeless with paperwork and it was shoved in the letters tray unopened. Luckily I am expecting the home insurance renewal letter. Spotted it just in time to be able to tell them we do not want to renew. I just found home insurance for £43 cheaper with higher cover and £38 cashback via TCB. So thats full insurance at £152 (covers all my work equipment), less £38 cashback = £114 :T:T:T
Total Save = £81!!!
Right that is the decision made - I am off to the hairdressers with what I just saved
Mr C has flounced off out - long story but we dont link our names due to his poor credit record, I had put my name on the policy he got all uppity because he worries that I will be affected, I took the name off the policy (it didnt make a difference) and he carried on and on and on and on and ....... you get the picture. I snapped and told him that if he bothered to open letters addressed to him he wouldnt be in the mess he is in as he costs himself hundreds of pounds per year just from being lax. He wouldn't let it go so I told him to shut up so he has gone off in a huffMEN!!

He'll calm down, he just knows that what you said made sense. With your office equipment being covered it may be worthwile you being named, just to be sure.
If he let you sort these things out he would soon realise that he can save even more, just hasn't had his "other people can help you LBM" yetOne small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!
2015 - my Amazon Gift Certificate mini challenge - saving to buy small household electrical items.

I do know how you feel. It's the 'Y' chromosome. His fore-brain knows you are right but that primitive hind-brain is saying "Me club sabre tooth tiger and look after little woman." I've just had a similar RL conversation with a friend.
Now you just have to hope he doesn't actually find a sabre tooth tiger to club because guess who is lined up to skin it :eek:But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0
