Should they receive any more complaints they will take formal action against tesco.

    One complaint coming up! :rotfl:

On a seperate(ish) note, I've just had a reply to the letter I sent to the store regarding my ban..

As you have raised several issues with regard to this incident, we feel it would be beneficial to everyone if you had a meeting with the store manager to discuss these issues.

I would therefore be pleased if you would contact the store on the above telephone number, to arrange a meeting at a time convenient to both yourself and us.

    From the CS Manager

(I sent it to the Store manager)

What do you reckon? Should I go?
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

no the PSP offer you save more than they say
    PSP £149.97
    Tekken £32.97
    Total £182.94

Offer it £159.97 so you save £22.97 not the £19.97 as per the promo display. If you have balls of steel you could buy tekken on its own pay £32.97 then argue that according to the promo stand tekken costs £29.97 (take the £149.97 from the offer price and add the £19.97 you are suposed to save and it comes to £29.97).

the only r+r possible is tekken not a PSP

whats the worst that could happen? the ban is upheld.
best the ban is cancelled and its game on.

there are so many other possible outcomes they could allow you in but only refund the difference if you find anything, offer you a job in Price integrity in that case you culd get paid to scan every item in the store and return the list to us on a daily basis so we can go for the freebies a true insider :T

They will probably have the chair & lights set up already. If the manager has a hitler style moustache turn & run FAST!!

On a serious note do not go alone, hope you get the correct outcome.

I think Tesco are trying to intimidate you by asking you to go the "Their store" where "There staff" are and meet in "Their managers office"... all a bit one sided.. perhaps you should ask if they would mind if you brought your solicitor along or a newspaper reporter or perhaps you could suggest that meeting takes place in their coffee shop, where all conversations can be openly heard by all!!
I know I would not be going to any meeting in a closed managers office.. only my opinion!!

in my opinion i would send one back asking for reasons why you have been banned and would then happily arrange a meeting to discuss the reasons, obviously accompanied by a representative of your choice ;)
They've got cars big as bars
    They've got rivers of gold
But the wind goes right through you

    Thats what I'm hoping!

I asked lots of probing questions in my letter, questions they obviously didnt want to answer in writing!

Tell you one thing, I'll be taking someone with me, not because I'm scared or anything, just as a witness and also recording the conversation (will tell them I am recording it too!)

QUOTE=ma6jrp]That Pro Evo bundle difference is due to the fact that the very quickly changed the price of Pro Evo from £39.97 to £37.97 to reflect the price on the poster, thus stopping an R&R on the game. But they didn't take into account it would affect the discount on the cosole bundle.

The console bundle will be very hard to get on R&R as you have paid the advertised price.[/QUOTE]
does the advertised price say how much you can save though? if it does then its misleading is it not?
sorry should be in the discussion board

Yeah definalty dont go alone, if your up my neck of the woods I will join in your meeting. I would always have someonelse in meetings if they could have legal implications. I have a mate who knows his !!!! when it comes to employment rights and he has offered if I ever need him to attend any meetings or discusions at work. A bit like Union people can do you are always allowed to have someone else in a meeting.

Ohh and if nyone knows a store near me that has the new games offers in other than walkden and horwich I will go give the xbox one a try. I have nothing to do today. My sister wants me to wash, polish and wax her car so it shines like I did mine last friday.

I then parked it under a tree in Nottingham for the weekend and it no longer looks so good
