out on the shelves yet anywhere?
Ta.
It shouldn't be on the shelve - Not released until Friday. You may find a friendly store that may sell you it from the store room a day early. Feed em a line about B-Day present and your away on hols Friday etc..
Apparantly it's available in-store at Blockbusters from tomorrow at £34.99 - I doubt Tesco's will be as cheap. Not unless it's on R&R :rotfl:0 -

I picked up a copy of FIFA 07 a day before its official release from HMV.
HMV chapper told me that Game had started selling it the previous day at the full RRP - he added that as Game had jumped the gun first, they risked the fine.

PS Never seen Tesco do this though!0 -

This is well know to happen to be honest, once one retailer starts to sell a game most local competitors, and by this I mean places like HMV, Game and such, not supermarkets, tend to follow rather than loose out on sales.
Last week for example I managed to get Smackdown vs Raw 2007 before its release date. And I know that the makes of Football Manager 2007 brough the release date forward from the friday to wednesday because an online retailer was sending games out first class inland on the monday, so people were recieveing them on the tuesday.Titch0 -
It's very common and nobody ever gets fined.
Dixons (currys digital or whatever now) used to be one of the worst for it with playstation 1 games, and centresoft couldn't do a thing to them - if they tried dixons would just delist them. PSX games would have sold a fraction of what they did if removed from grannyshops like dixons.
The only people the fine is threatened against are small indies.ॐ Signature Removed by Someones Mum. ॐ0 -
Can someone clarify if the tins of quality street are a current R&R possibility ?
there are out of date SELS showing a 2 for £9 offer, but some folks have hinted that they now scan at 2 for £10.
I know this has been mentioned in the other thread but i found the posts confusing.
In my local store there are hundreds of the big purple tins of QS, most with SELs removed, but I saw one out of date 2 for 9 sel really high up on one of the top shelves that run right along the side wall of the store.
Are these R&R'able ?
thanks0 -
IM going to try for my 1st RnR today.. Will the sign be at the cust service desk stating their policy?.. sjt so I can point it out.. and does it apply to every store?.. Im in Scotland?0

Friendly local T/S lady unaware of Tesco Price Promise, despite shopping there every week. System explained to her, and she was delighted with the info. Promises to try immediately for an R&R.
As a bonus, if Tesco refuse to honour their policy by using the usual excuses, (we all know a myriad of them don't we), despite definite overcharging/misleading/absent SELs, she has promised to report them to the appropriate department for investigation.
Another recruit chaps, possibly a very helpful one in reinforcing customer rights.0 -
There are other signs which say that the tins are up for 2 for 10 now. and that's what they scan at aswell.
re: the sign with their policy on it.
it's usually on a blue board, with white writing, i think it says "Our Promise" or something like that. and also in a leaflet stand where it shows which cards they accept, usually found on the till itself - their policy is shown clearly. it goes something like : "...in the even that prices dont add up..... we'll offer you a refund and you get to keep the product too..."'I love being married. It's so great to find the one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life' :heartpuls0 -

it also states the price promise on their website.....so if you can't see it when ur in store....just say that you noticed it on their website while you were surfing
