  • Each of the 4 coupons in the November issue of the free Asda Magazine will save you money at Tesco. One page from the back.

The 30p one scans at £1.28
The 25p one scans at £1.43
The £1.50 one scans at £1.50
The 50p one scans at £3.98

The 50 pence (uniball one) scans at £4.50 - bottom of approximately page 56, before the Jordan and her comic breasts section.

Cut the top left corner off of each voucher (removing the large ASDA logo) as some Tesco staff will not take ASDA vouchers.
Pick a dumb looking very young/new checkout operator and you will have no problems.
I have been buying approximately £4.00 of Uniball pens for the kids + £6.00 worth of other shopping and using the two 50p vouchers.

Net cost £2 for £10 worth of goods, as this does not involve a refund (no receipt marking) I think you can probably take the pens back and get a £4 refund. The receipt just says 'Coupon 4.50'.

This would mean £6 worth of goods (anything you want) would cost you -£2.

  • monster...do you have to buy the uniball pens to use the coupons....or will tesco accept the coupons without purchasing the pens?
They've got cars big as bars

Probably not (if you have half a dozen items packed away in the poly bags is the average person going to remember what they have just scanned ?), all depends how interested the Checkout operator is.

I present the Uniball voucher to the Checkout operator first (after my shopping has been scanned) telling her this is for the pens I have just bought, distracts them from the second Vic Synex 50p voucher that scans at £3.98 as I am not buying any Vic Synex.

Somebody previously advised that you can scan the vouchers yourself at a self service checkout, but I have not tried this yet.

Asda mags are free at each checkout or in a display stand at the entrance, tonight I just grabbed a bundle from the entrance.

Don't give Tesco any opportunity to identify you, therefore always pay cash, never use a clubcard, never give your real name and address if asked.

Yeah but why not identify you as your not doing out wrong ?

Second how much do you have to spend to use Asda Money off vouchers ?

Just wanted to say - Is my Tesco the only one that has either SEL's or sticker on the goods?? No obvious misprices anywhere!!!!

They take everything out of the boxes with prices on - so no Champers & chocs!

They don't display prices on cd/dvd/game(whatever!) of the week - just display it next to the game/cd/dvd with them in chart position. So sel always displays a higher price and you don't care if you are undercharged do you?!?!

They have recently had the chocs (lindor) and biccies at the higher price & scanning at the higher price!

I am becoming increasingly frustrated!

I have managed to get some pringles, a 2 for £3 that wasn't working and a Bratz doll, but hey I'm not giving in easily!!!

    Every little helps!! ;)

Oh yeah - did manage to use my uniball voucher the other night, spotty youth on the till was very confused!!;)
