Tesco Syndicate, Sudbury £7,500,000
A 10-strong syndicate of checkout staff from Tesco in Sudbury, Suffolk, is celebrating after ringing up an incredible £7.5 million share of the Lotto Superdraw jackpot on National Lottery Day on Saturday 23rd September.
The syndicate members are now busy drawing up their dream shopping lists - apart from cars, holiday and kitchens, PRO EVO 6,LEGO STAR WARS,GRIPSHIFT,NEW DRIVER KIT - GET THESE AT TESCO OVERPRICED ,some of them are also planning on helping out children and grandchildren with mortgages and bills. The winners have no immediate plans to give up their jobs, however, as they are all good friends and enjoy working together AND LIKE SAYING NO TO THE OVERPRICES!
Syndicate leader, Avis King, said: "We're all still in shock and everything feels a bit surreal at the moment.(I FEEL LIKE THAT AFTER GETTING REFUNDED FOR OVERPRICED & DEALING WITH A NICE CS ADVISOR) When I found out we'd won on Sunday I was just shaking from head to toe - I still haven't come down to earth yet. We have been playing together as a syndicate but this is our biggest win so far!"
Syndicate member, Brenda Cleverley, said: "We all love our jobs and have many wonderful customers(EVEN THE ONES WHO R&R) so we all feel we would be missing out if we decided to give it up."
Shelagh Matthews agreed: "Since the news broke that we won all our customers, whiles at the cs desk getting a refund coz of overpriced items, and workmates have been coming up, congratulating us and commenting that this couldn't have happened to a nicer group of people - that means a lot to us as not many like us as we tend to not stick to the proper policy regarding overprices.
EVEN WINNING THE LOTTO CS STAFF STILL DONT SMILE!!
Sorry just messing around an dont intend to affend anyone.. just noticed the article on the lottery site!0 -

That must be the only store chargeing those prices for those 2 items.
Xbox 360 premium is £259.97
PES 6 is scanning at £39.97
with these prices the saving is correct and not an r+r the xbox 360 price of £259.97 is pretty new and only really came out when the bundle wa started so I doubt it was scanning at £257.97. Tesco put the price of PES6 up to combat the r+r on the bundle.
good luck0 -

PES 6 has been scanning at £39.9* since last Friday. If you bought it after that, you haven't got a chance, as the saving is correct. The price was updated by HO, so it's not likely that the game would have scanned at £37 after last Friday. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

The other thing to add is that although the game is scanning at £39.97, there are still stores with the old £37 SEL up, which could explain why his mate said the game was £37. The R&R would have been easy on the game if this were the case, but not on the Xbox bundle, as the saving is correct. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

They tried to change the prices on the seperate items to make the saving correct it seems.
However I thought the displays had been withdrawn.
Perhaps they're coming back out now.0
