I just read the discussion thread ...at times I sigh.....seems like a points scoring game to me from some...

The star wars lego 360 game is still mispricing in some stores
i got an R&r o n it today and they took my name and address and told me if i bought any other games that mis-priced i would not get a refund.

im sure there policy doesnt say that

went through at £37 xx so a couple of pounds out at ipswich tesco

hello

i have been watching this bored 4 a while now have been 2 a few stores over the last few day but i have not found 1 game mispriced but 2 day i found a tv with a sel £148.00 it was a ventuer 15" lcd but im sure whilst in another store the other day it had sel of £148.98 as any body noticed this as i could not price check as all scanner out of order any advice appreciated sorry in advance if i have posted wrong but im new

Hold on. You told CS that you knew of three other people who had already bagged the game for free? That's where you went wrong. I'm not surprised they said what they said to you, I'm afraid. After all, you basically admitted that you knew the game was mispriced before buying it. As far as contract law is concerned, if they can prove you knew the correct price before buying the game, you were not overcharged. They can prove that you took the item to the till knowing it would ring through at the higher price, thus made an offer of that price which they then accepted when they took your money. They can prove this because you admitted it to them at the CSD!

Obviously, they were still breaking the Consumer Protection Act.

I have visited a number of stores and have not noticed it at £148.98, I would also be surprised it if scanned at £148.98 as it being promoted nationally at the lower £148 but hey you never know until you check.
