  • Seriously, stilernin, what you're seeing at the moment is the "Xbox frenzy"...this has happened before, but calms down when the Xbox issue is fixed. We had the "Sony LCD TV frenzy" just before this. When Tesco mess up on something expensive, like the Xbox, all and sundry come out of the woodwork to post on the subject (both here and on the misprices thread). When things calm down, both threads get back to normal, with conversation focusing on the smaller, more frequent misprices. Trust me when I say that the regulars who post on these threads do find the constant "Where can I get a free Xbox from?" posts annoying. We like to talk about how the BOGOF offer didn't work on Pringles, for example... ;)

I would say read the misprices thread and make a note of the stuff that interests you. Normally, it will be small, regular stuff.

but stilernin, go and get these games, sell them even!

    Theres moneys worth there

the xbox games mentioned will sell "buy it now" on ebay for £30 no worries?

    free money ;)
    £2051.50 since Oct 25 2006 ;) Make mine a Golden £143.46 :D

    I love Leadhead :D:D

yes offer covers all flavours but for some reason certain flavours work and sone dont

If the Pringles promo is anything like the Walkers Sensations crisps Promo, the offer keeps dropping off the system on certain flavours. :D

we never know when they are going to change the policy and by then its gona be too late!!!

No we dont but then The amount of mispriced items tesco have are unbelievable, and as such I think TS would have a field day with fines :D
So i dont think it would be worth Tesco taking away the "bribe" not to go to TS. :o

    hi

did my online tesco shop & noticed that their finest range of soups and sauces were advertised as 2 for £1! they are usually £3.58-£3.98 for 1! so i thought this was a bargain and ordered 8.

order arrived today, paper work said buy 2 save £1 - i cheked online again and it's def advertised as 2 for £1.

contacted online cs, R &R -£15.12 refunded yippee!

not sure if this is the same in store, but is online

If you add it up it is not a complete refund just how much the overcharge was
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

It doesn't normally apply to dot.com purchases. I think the OP was very lucky.
