If it was still up would i get an RNR from Head office if i dug my heels in?
*Sorry meant to add provided PES6 was still scanning at 37.xx*
Is the poster for PES6 showing it at 37.xx still up?0 -
N20Y1D wrote:Yes it does, out of interest what flavours were they?
But I'm sure the offer covered all flavours?0 -
'Taken, perhaps it is just the current frenzy that has coloured my view. Certainly the second half of the list you have shown is the more usual part of a weekly shop.
I'll have to start keeping a list myself.
No offence to anyone........ as I said it was just a passing thought.
PS. Which are the other 4 threads referred to by ginjim?0 -
That picture is suggesting that it's the standard XBox premium pack + the separate PES6 game that leads to the multisave discount?
*Edit*
What I'm getting at is it's actually a special XBox multi pack (which has PES6 inside it) that is currently available and is what you get when you take one of the little boxes to be scanned. What happens if you take the standard XBox console premium and separate PES6 game and scan them?0 -

did my online tesco shop & noticed that their finest range of soups and sauces were advertised as 2 for £1! they are usually £3.58-£3.98 for 1! so i thought this was a bargain and ordered 8.
order arrived today, paper work said buy 2 save £1 - i cheked online again and it's def advertised as 2 for £1.
contacted online cs, R &R -£15.12 refunded yippee!
not sure if this is the same in store, but is online

Seriously, stilernin, what you're seeing at the moment is the "Xbox frenzy"...this has happened before, but calms down when the Xbox issue is fixed. We had the "Sony LCD TV frenzy" just before this. When Tesco mess up on something expensive, like the Xbox, all and sundry come out of the woodwork to post on the subject (both here and on the misprices thread). When things calm down, both threads get back to normal, with conversation focusing on the smaller, more frequent misprices. Trust me when I say that the regulars who post on these threads do find the constant "Where can I get a free Xbox from?" posts annoying. We like to talk about how the BOGOF offer didn't work on Pringles, for example...
I would say read the misprices thread and make a note of the stuff that interests you. Normally, it will be small, regular stuff.
I think the other threads mentioned are the previous (now closed) misprices threads. As you can see, this is thread number 13 of the Misprices Discussion thread. We're now on thread 6 of the Misprices thread. There's also an Ethics thread on the Money Saving Arms (Discussion Time) board. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

If anyone gets an r&r on a phone today, can they post on here and let me know if the discount still isn't coming off.

i can see the CS getting more furious when i RnR, i believe the issue is widespread and now they always try to offer you the difference or say anything that they think may stop you from getting a full refund from them.
i know we should not abuse the policy, and im not saying we should. however, in the meantime- i think if the item is wrongly priced and if its something we quite want, go get it... (obvs u also have to maintain a low profile and be calm and friendly to the cs when u approach them).
and DO NOT USE A CLUBCARD! (i know this issue was stressed before, but on a several occasion, they did actually ask if i do have a clubcard so lets play this safely)
we never know when they are going to change the policy and by then its gona be too late!!!0
