I think in the case of the Xboxes, there is a grey area, Tescos I do not think wittingly tried to deceive anyone by their actions, instead I think they were caught out by their own intent to stop previous r&r from taking place on the game. The extra purchases made it a game of the week, reducing the cost anyway. Well done all those r&r that achieved their goal, but beware some times a bird in the hand is not worth two in a bush.

(1 nice deal cannot get you back all those, additional deals to be gained while remaining anonymous. Always way up the short gain against the long game)

Can I just add my outburst in the store was not aimed at any cs people

I went el ballistico at the store manager who blatantly knew the score and the policy. I asked why i wasnt being given my refund as per tesco policy

Yep i bottled the xbox offer, was still on display stand this morning along with the game of the week poster by the games pricing PES at 37.xx no actual sel in the gaming section shelf though...

incidently the offer pyramid was quite a distance from the actual gaming section...

I would suggest you restrict it to the ones with white sels, those are the ones that have worked for me.

People need some help! My mate is in A Tescp and he can see the bundle XBOX mistake offer. I dont know if he should go for it? Any answers requested URGENT!!

Ive tried the phone a few times but I seem to pick the wrong person at the checkout. Ive tried it various ways like buying the phone on its own then getting someone to come in and tell me to purchase a few dvds when hes already processed the phone therefore the 20 pound does not come off. But everytime the checkout guy says "Oh wait ill call my manager you can get £20 off this item". And each time I have to pretend I lost my bank card.

I went for it yesterday, its a tough one to get, I got the CS to admit there mistake but in the end the manager refused to give me the refund. Also I rang head office and they are not going to budge on this one, although Im awaiting a phone call from someone higher up.

Phones are dodgy, your best bet is to go through with it, see what happens, if not then get a refund. Hopefully the CS wont recognise the £20 u saved refund you the extra £20 you got off. Thats what happened with me.
