Morning All! *waves*

A bit damp and grey here this morning - but as I am stuck in my office at work.... I really do not mind!

I really do not have a lot to update.

Oh except battle has commenced with SE. Opening offer from them.... £176.00. Erm.......No, I do not think so!! I have replied and await their response (hopefully today, as to be fair their customer team has been pretty spot on so far!) Will let negotiations carry on until Friday at the latest and then off to the Ombudsman if necessary!

This could get interesting!! :O)

Have just 'nudged' SE to make sure they received my email on Sat. I think 3 days should be enough time for them to at least acknowledge it!!

Oh, it is all soooo dull. I just want to be debt -free.... not rolling in money (although that would be nice). If I didn't have my repayments, I would be quite comfortable. Grrr.

Anyway, one step in the right direction... another free £5 from the online Bingo people! Happy Days!! lol

I know it is only Wednesday.... but I have 2 items of news....

• Energy mi-selling claim has been registered with the Ombudsman.
• I am getting a pay rise!! Not sure how much extra it will put in my pocket... but anything extra is a bonus!!!

Will be back when I know.. and have updated my spreadsheet!

Seems a long time since I did a regular Friday confessional... but the good news is I am still here, still plodding on and getting there.

Bullet form update....

• One week tomorrow we are off on holiday!! 1 week in the sun!!
• My payrise kicks in next week - based on some rough calcs (and using an online tax / wages calculator) I should be about £27-£28 a week better off. Have 'provisionally' amended my spreadsheets but will get accurate figure next week!!
• Claim against SE is with the Ombudsman.... just a waiting game now. Any monies recouped from this will top up the 'holiday spends'.
• Have lost half a stone since end of April. Mainly by :j

And that... as they say in the onion world..... is shallot!

OBNW - glad you still around! Did you do diving in Portugal?? Or did you stay above the water and are now a golden-goddess??

Hello everybody peeps!

I am back!! Holiday was lovely. Due to a nice delay of 19 hours on the way out, I am now looking into compensation for all 7 of us! Just another thing to do!! lol

Managed to grab myself another free £5 from the bingo people!! whoop whoop!

Need to collate all the emails that I sent to the gas/electricity people and send off to the Ombudsman.... a nice little job for this evening I think.
