Mornings All!

Well, it is incredibly foggy down here today! Where has spring gone? At least it is above freezing!! (although as I haven't been at home this week, I expect OH has had the house heated like a sauna anyway!!)

Well, PAYDAY today! YIPPEE! Everything that moves automatically has moved, I have put the £100 that I usually pay OH into my old OD temporarily until I get the details through for my new account - well, I thought I may as well use it to increase my balance there and decrease the amount of interest I am paying. The quicker I get to £0.00 the better!

And then, when I get my new account details through money is going to be flying in and out of accounts all over the place! Well, it will give the banks something to do and make me feel a bit better that they have charged me soo much over the years for nothing!!

Other than that - nothing else to report. Get to go home tomorrow evening, which will be nice! I love house / dog-sitting, but there is still nowehere like my own bed! Oh, I should get my money for sitting as well on Sunday or Monday.

Right, I am off to see if there is any more money shufflin' I can do.

Good morning All! At least that pesky snow has pretty much all gone now! 2hrs 15mins to get home (10 miles) on Monday night was not my idea of fun... but I did make it, unlike some people!!

So, it is my favourite day of the week again! Have received my payout from Q.co, some OT, usual wages and my house-stting reimbursement. All in all a good looking bank account.... at least until today when the CC gets paid!!

I have had about a hundred letters for my new bank account - think I finally have all the necessary details, so I will sit and look at that this evening and get online banking set up!

Everything else is pretty much behaving!! Had a small flutter on the racing at Cheltenham this week and came away up!! Transfered money back to my bank account! *good girl Nats!! lol*

I will be at work tomorrow, apbout 4 hours OT, so will get that next week. I have decided my aim is to try and earn a little bit of OT each week - it is amazing the difference it makes to my bank balance!!

Good morning All!

Well, we have escaped further snow so far! Long may that last - I really don't mind winter at all, but it does feel like it has been cold and dark for forever! Roll on not having to wear layers all the time!!

So, it is Friday! YAY! Everything has been moved around to where it should be and my spreadsheet updated!!

Finally managed to activate online banking for my new account last night - just waiting for them to answer a question I sent them and then it will be all systems go!

Aiming to do 2 hours OT this Sat - every little does help, and I need to boost my funds before the next CC statement comes through! lol

The 'paying cash for food shopping' task definitely made a difference to the size of the CC bill last month - it is definitely the way forward! Even OH seems to agree (most of the time!!) And my mission to try and empty the freezer is actually working as well!!

Right, loads to do at work, so had better crack on! Have a good weekend everyone! x
