Thanks Mumof2.
Love your profile pic0 -
I've got some homemade yogurt in the fridge that I made about 3 weeks ago. Still fine. I love not having dates on my food.
Liquid collects where the spoon's been, it's whey, just stir it in.0 -
Hi Jonny2510:hello:
I would say it would be fine, but only use it if you are totally comfortable.
I'll add your thread to the existing one on Use by dates later to keep the information together
thanks

I would say as long as it smells and tastes ok, you can use it! The liquid on top is nothing to worry about as thriftlady and mumof2 said!:)Less is more0

Hi
I buy large tubs of natural yogurt from Lidl. It usually has a sell by date of around 3 weeks and says nothing about 'once opened etc' so it stays in the fridge opened until past the sell by date unlees it's finished by then. it's never done us any harm.
and, yeah, i think it's supposed to get liquid on top, just stir it in0 -
Natural yogurt is good till it gets mouldy in this house.0

Like Thriftlady, I make my own yoghurt and I would eat it if i had some left in the fridge 6 days (or more) after it had been opened.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

But it does keep well for a good two weeks.
