May I join in please? I need to shift my baby paunch. I am at the top of my BMI and want to bring it back down to the middle. I need to lose about 11 lbs so my weight begins with an 8 and not a 9. I am short and small framed so this will be in the middle of the healthy weight category for me.

9st 10lb start weight, nothing lost so far.

Today is my first day on a 28 day detox and I am going for a mini goal of 4lb by the end of the detox. After the detox I find I eat better as I don't want to start filling my body with rubbish again so I am hoping this will help me to continue to lose the weight by sticking to healthy eating.

Good luck everyone and well done to those of you who are already shifting the weight:T

Hope you dont blow it all this weekend!! I probably will as I have a electrical supply problem which means if I put on an appliance with a big draw ie oven I lose the rest of the power to the house  Leccy board coming out after 4pm today :o If its not one thing its another... First weigh in tomorrow after falling off the wagon. I've been checking up and so far things are looking positive to get a loss.

Had some very bad news this week, my grandma had a massive stroke and has significant bleeding in her brain, they've said it's very unlikely she'll recover from it and its likely she'll be gone within the month, and won't regain conciousness. Its a horrible thing to happen to someone and none of us are handling it particularly well, but in relation to this thread I've only been picking at tiny bits the last few days (except last night when I made tapas for some friends, but I only had one plate of food and given I spent 10 hours stood cooking I probably burned extra calories anyway - some people eat when they're stressed, I cook and then feed anyone around me) so I'm expecting the poor eating to have helped a bit. Not that thats any consolation!
