Not sure but luckily I am not one of the women who has a hang up about carbs or any food for that matter. I have been aware for a while now that I may have an intolerance to a couple of things but never really pay attention to what causes it. I am interested in seeing what is happening, I don't intend to go mad with certain foods as we enjoy eating out A LOT but at least I can make better choices sometimes.

I am doing the weight loss in small chunks as I don't really have much to lose. My hard work has paid off this week, I am just being more aware of what I am doing more than anything else. Haven't been able to exercise for 5 days due to an injury, hoping to get back out today to help with my weight loss.

No idea where I am since the last time I clocked in here, but I got under the 10stone mark this morning, bringing me to 10.6lbs lost in total - 5lbs lost this week! I'm now within 6lbs of my wedding weight, and I'm feeling very enthusiastic. Can't say I'm been eating very well though (example is yesterday: breakfast, diet coke, lunch turkey salad and two small bars thorntons dark chocolate, mid afternoon: another diet coke, an apple, handful of grapes, dinner: 8 individual thorntons chocolates, diet coke). I was eating a bit better before this, salad for lunch and omlette for tea kind of thing, but still not great. Basically I've developed a bit of carb phobia! Put a bit of rice in my veggie stir fry for lunch to try to bulk it up a bit.

OK back on the wagon :j

Have been riding a lot recently now Danny recovered, (he's not too impressed though)

Am being good during the week but will eat what I want Saturday nights/Sundays.... :o

I have a carb phobia totally... No spuds/pasta/chips/bread/chocolate and have stopped necking the baileys..... Its the only thing that works for me......:( Although only being human, I do fall off the wagon and scoff toast occasionally.... dribble :D

I had to do a search to find this thread, I keep forgetting to weigh and when I do I forget to post. It may be slow going but I have another 1lb loss to report.

Sorry, haven't been on MSE for AGES and forgot to update my progress this thread last time I was on :(

    cazmanian_minx start weight 10st 5lbs / 19lbs to lose / 1lb gone this week / 9lbs lost in total

I got utterly stuck for a while, which is why I stopped reporting progress, and then I borrowed The Harcombe Diet from the library, lost 7lbs in five days and have now kept it off for over a month :D Now stuck on 9st 10lbs, but if I lose too much more my wedding dress won't be alterable, so I'm going to try and get to 9st 7lbs and stay there until after the wedding (August).

I'm feeling good on it though (warning: picture of self in a bikini on the below link!):

I am the same weight this week. I have had to stop running due to shin splints and haven't done anything since Thursday. Was also away with work at the weekend and generally the only food option was fast food so I am happy to have stayed where I am. I am tempted to go swimming instead of running, but had been going out with OH and don't really want to exercise on my own at the mo as I have no motivation. I also tend to lose weight quicker when I swim and my first dress fitting for my wedding dress should be in 2-4 weeks so need to be careful. Maybe I will just do press ups and sit ups for the next few weeks!

Not sure what has happened, done no exercise whatsoever and have eaten out a lot and have lost weight, maybe that is the way forward!

    AJmoney/ 12/ 6lb to loose / 2lb lost this week / Weight now 10 stone 9

I have 2lb left to lose to get to my first goal...I wonder if I can make 10 stone 7 and stay there for the wedding :D
