When did you orders yours? Friend's start build date for powershift galaxy is end of Feb. Expected arrival date is late March making it roughly 12 weeks. He will know after next week if everything is on schedule

Well the day finally came and we got the new galaxy it's going to take a couple of days just to get used to all the equipment onboard the Bluetooth for mobile phone is fantastic will keep informed when had a couple of more days to play but busy at work at the mo so may have to wait few days :j

Well had the galaxy for a week now and had time to play very pleased with it never fails to bring a smile to my face when either look at it or drive it.
As a drive it feels big at first but soon get used to it I think it's more to do with the fact it's new and want to keep it that way ha ha,very impresed to find it's a 6 speed auto box so will rtn good fuel econ on long runs, around the town I'm a little let down on economy but it's still new and won't be run or bed in for a few thousand miles and that's when it will improve that I know.
One thing I would have liked would have been keyless entry as now find have key in hand to unlock then don't need it so put in drink holder and forget it's there until I get out and reach back in,if was keyless key would stay in pocket all times and make it less to think about I know it's a little petty moan but it's my true opinion on the car.
On the road very good low noise and can be quick off mark if give it boot full but will set off nicely if you don't all controls are handy to reach and still trying to get used to voice control but will get there.

Glad to see you are happy with it. It take it is a 140bhp version? What colour is it? Did you find any faults when you inspected it at collection?

Hopefully my friend should be collecting his in a few weeks time. Looking at the equipment spec we hav a lot to check

I guess with the start buttons you have to get out of the habbit of keeping the key in your hand getting into the vehicle and just click it then put it straight back in your pocket.

I agree though having one without the other would seem a little pointless.

Regarding the key, why not have it on a chain etc and wear it like a necklace? Just keep it inside your shirt/top.

Hi Wazza it's black and looks fab with the blacked out windows set off against the chrome trim yes it's the higher bhp as that's all the tiptronic box comes with.

Never found any defects on collection or since and gave it a good clean yesterday didn't think about how big it is to clean when ordering ha ha and as for wearing key fob around neck what do you think I am a member of the bee gees:rotfl:
