    jonnypb..........

It is the 2.0 deisel C-Max in Titanium spec with the automatic powershift gearbox which I have ordered, not the 1.6.

It does show as £355 advanced payment on the sheet I got sent and that is what is on the order form I got from the dealer last week when I ordered the car as well. ..........

He does not get high rate motability component of DLA, he gets War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement for whom the AP is £355. Am i correct?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

Sorry, I didn't realise it made any differance.

The £355 you refer to is not the 'standard' advance and I can only assume that is is for War Pensioners, very good price and enjoy ( we have the Mondeo with the same box and its a delight to drive).

The Mondeo was changed last December and attracted a very good discount on bartering (this is MSE after all!).

Seat, Ford, Honda etc will all 'deal', but couldn't find a Vauxhall dealer that would.
  • Just ordered myself the C-Max Titanium diesel auto. Excellant value at £105 - (£355 minus the £200 grant as I need an automatic box).
Also managed to get a few options added on with a discount as well. It seems Ford are really pushing the C-Max but it seems
an excellant car, much better than the Vauxhall Zafira and the like. I can't wait for mine to be delivered. I have been
given an estimate of 10 weeks. Hs anyone been told of a long wait but got the car sooner?
    James.

10 weeks is about the norm for ordering any new car. It all depends if you've added any extras on or not. You might get lucky and Ford may have one ready sitting somewhere.

Not sure if this has been mentioned as I haven't read every reply but.

If you know someone who has a motability car already, you can get them to give you a refereral voucher thingie, which allows you both to receive £50 each, upon getting a car if you are a "new" customer. Theres also no restrictions on it being a family member.

In response to the waiting time on a new car, sometimes it can be delayed. My mum had a citreon, it was due for pickup on the last week of October and it wasn't available till mid November. We ordered the car in August.

Which galaxy did you order? Friend ordered his end of Dec, had a call saying estimate day of build is late Feb and should arrive at dealership mid March.

Ordered the 2.0 tdci durashift titanium think some of the prob was that the dealership did order the s max by mistake but that only delayed it by about 4 weeks but even after that it's been a long wait and still no help towards AP after there blunder
