Thanks BTD, you're right, they will get ejected, ha! It's actually really nice so will definitely be wearing it, one thing I won't be doing is taking it with me to my fitting, the woman there helpfully told me not to wear my purple shoes with my dress. I did end up getting cheap ivory ones to wear and will swap into my purples for the evening.

Well, another NSD for me today, brought my lunch, have my dinner sorted and will be going straight home tonight. OH is working shifts so won't be down tonight, better use this time wisely i.e. do some cleaning instead of sitting on my a$$ all night.

Well today wasn't a NSD as thought, I ended up buying a yoghurt cos I was starving this afternoon, so 60p spent.

Had beef olives (not as good as the haggis ones) with veggies and yorkshire pudding, didn't have any potatoes and couldn't be bothered stopping for them. Well not done much cleaning but I have almost killed myself doing the 30 Day Shred dvd. Only the second time doing it, was motivated after watching The Biggest Loser US and seeing Sherry getting down to 138lbs (my weight at the moment), she looked fab, it spurned me on the do more. Have moved my coffee table so think will leave it where it is and do it again tomorrow night. Only thing is, OH is down from Friday to Monday so will probably need to move it back. We're going to have to go for a walk or something over the weekend if it's nice. Need to remind him to bring his walking stuff. Well going hop in the shower and maybe have one last cuppa before bed. Night all.

    Afternoon all,

Had such a good sleep last night that I couldn't get up this morning, as I was running slightly late I didn't have time to heat my soup for lunch. So lunch was rice cakes and dairylea light, had porridge this morning and have still got a yoghurt, cereal bar, a plum and two bananas to eat. My reckoning is to bring more food than I think I'll eat so if I do get peckish I'm not tempted by the canteen.

I will have the soup tonight for my dinner as not sure if it'll last til tomorrow as I made it on Monday. Will need to pick up some bread and milk for the weekend as OH is down tomorrow and he drinks tea (with milk) like there's no tomorrow.

He had his eye appointment today and got the all clear which is brilliant, so glad. He's diabetic and had to get his eye lasered as a 'ring' was forming on his iris, apparantly not good if it forms, so it was lasered to break the ring - or something to that effect. Lucky him has the day off and as he was working shifts he's not back to work til Tuesday.

I had to text him to say not to make a surprise visit today as the house is still a mess. Really need to get my butt in gear as been very lazy recently - I'm blaming my lack of iron, ha.

Well, lunch almost over so better get back to the grindstone.

Oops, been slacking with my diary a bit. Getting nearer to my debt free date but if I know myself if I don't update this more regularly I'll slip back to Debtsville very easily.

Spent £2.05 today on milk and a naughty latte but I did enjoy it. Had a very spendy weekend, race night on Saturday where me and sis were drinking doubles to give us dutch courage incase we were called up, she was, I wasn't but I got very drunk anyway. She had a huge hangover, I didn't, brilliant.

Went out to a carvery last night as OH was still at mines, it was very tasty but I ate far too much. Was a tad ill in work today (tum trouble) and whilst I'm not blaming the actual carvery, I am going to blame the person or persons un-known who obviously didn't wash their hands properly then used the utensils, yuck and double yuck! No-one else was ill though so maybe I did just over-eat.

Well think it's bed-time for me, couldn't get up this morning as usual, be so glad once the clocks go forward as it'll make is easier to get up. Night all.

Well finally some money news, spent £1.40 today on lunch, yesterday on top of my latte was £8 for haircut and £10 mobile top up, so not too bad I suppose.

Although I did make a boo boo with my CC payment, I thought because I had made my over-payment early the DD wouldn't come off so I then paid the DD money too (as I had budgetted for this) and then the flipping DD did come off, so £25 extra paid this month without even trying.

Doesn't make much of a dent so will leave my siggy.

How MSE - making subconscious overpayments! :D

Your weekend sounds excellent - and as for your sneaky Latte, if you can get a boost from a budget friendly treat like that occasionally then why not - it's only if it slips back to being a daily habit you have to start feeling worried I would say. :)

    Hi all,

Nice to see you back urg, hope you had a good holiday!

Yeah an occasional latte does wonders, shame the machine was out of order today, boo!

Anyway, not much else in money news, still counting down til pay-day which is two weeks tomorrow and I'm quite skint already. No pain without gain, I guess. Have managed to save some money on our wedding though, I had booked a nice hotel for the wedding night and the night after and had got quite a good deal but my sister was checking out B & B's for family to stay in and found a really nice one which is loads cheaper. I had thought it would be nice all to have breakfast the next day but the hotel I booked was too expensive, so we've changed the booking so we're all in the same place and it's really lovely.

Not bothered about mother being in the room next door as we'll probably be bush-whacked anyway (hence the two night stay), ha! We'll pay for my other sis and hubby as they are coming from abroad, even paying for them it's still cheaper.

Well going to have a relaxing night in front of the tv then go for a bath. Got to get the train to work tomorrow as have a night out with work-mates, dinner paid for so shouldn't be a dear night.

    Confession time....

I've been on ebay AGAIN! A few weeks ago I bought eh now 4 pairs of candlesticks, 1 pr is quite nice, 1 pr turned out to be brass (got a refund though) and the other 2 prs I like both but really wanted 4 matching ones for the table. Anyway went on ebay the other night and found two ebayers selling a pr of each. The taller ones that I like more had a bid on it and doesn't finish til Saturday but the other one had no bids and finished last night. Guess who bought them??? £7.40 including postage so not too bad, BUT I still really like the taller ones.

The good thing is that a) the 4 shorter ones are really nice and will look good and b) OH is down on Saturday night and will be seriously peed off with me if I buy anymore candlesticks.

I should be satisfied but can't get them out my mind, OMG I have a candlestick addiction. My name is Swinstie and I'm a candlestickaholic.

Evening all, well it has been an eventful day. Went into Glasgow for our last team meeting, some food and quite a lot of drinkies. Team is being split up and going under different managers so it was the last one as 'our' team. Only spent £5 on train fare and £4 on coffees at the station on the way home. We left at 8.30pm to get the train at 9.15pm, had been out since 3pm so wasn't too early to come home. If we had missed the 9.15pm train, the next one was two hours later. Got a wee sore head so glad didn't drink too much more, the yummy dinner helped as well, sausages and mash in a giant yorkshire pudding. I do believe I am addicted to yorkies.

Anyway, spoke to OH and now going to head to bed. Have the gym tomorrow which I MUST go to, don't know why but there were scales in the bathroom of the pub we were in and of course I had to jump on - it told me I had put on 7lbs!!!! Hoping it's wrong but just incase, I WILL be at the gym tomorrow. Told one of the guys in work that I really need to watch what I'm eating and that includes when someone brings in choccies or shortbread (I love shortbread), to please not let me see them - hide them somewhere and don't tell me where.

Also got a call from the bridal shop today to say that my dress was back from the dry-cleaners and it came up great. Not sure I want to go see it though as I'll cry if I try it on and it doesn't fit.

Anyway rambling now, so off to bed, night all.
