Lol. Freddie, did people really paint the horses teeth?
Yes. Would link to a video of mine, but tis best part of betamax and twenty five years old.

Also, used to put cloths in the sumps of cars to make them sound smoother.

Yes, we all get upset when something we buy on the net turns out notbwhat we expected, ifvthe seller is a private seller, I am afraid, you can say goodbye to your cash.

If it was a commercial seller, reject under DSR, you know what this means as you have bins around the parish a while now.

Oh well. We will see if I get in trouble.

    Still not changing the title.

Dont see much point in perservering this, I am warning people about this service, as its often easier to spot fakes on ebay as titles that are sold for £30 are available at £10, you are not shocked when you get a fake, but this was £2 lower than Play's price, and you expect when a 'reputable' website has a listing stating a brand new, genuine Ds/DSI game for £2 less it is probably genuine.

In this case it was not, therefore the warning, people might have bought these inadvertently as gifts, imagine how you would feel if you bought one as a gift for someone who then got in trouble if they tried to trade it in to a shop.

So stop going on like I was foolish for trying to save £2, this is a money saving forum, and stop pestering me to change the title.

Oh and cheers freddie, Id love to see the vids though.
It wasnt a private seller, as I said it was via play.com- they have assured me I will have a refund within 3 days after they have contacted the seller. TS also gave me their 'full backing' and have seemingly had a lot of complaints. They themselves stated Play.com are responsible for refunding as I paid my money to them, not to the person who sent it.

Which is probably how the 3rd party tricked you. This is not in Play's control, and has nothing to do with Play's reputation.

I completely understand you point and frustration for the umpteenth time, howevedr you need to get over the fact that this is not down to Play.com. I order directly from Play.com, not Playtrade, why you may ask? Because you have greater consumer rights when buying new.

I dont understand your last bit. The game i bought was new, and sealed. And advertised as such. The only bit of the description they got wrong was the "genuine" part.... If i want used games I go to GAME on the high st.

    From their own wesbite;
    What is PlayTrade?
PlayTrade is the new way to make money selling your DVDs, CDs, Books, Games and more to the millions of customers who shop at Play.com. As a PlayTrade seller, your products will appear for sale on the Play.com web site, giving you the benefits that only the UK's largest entertainment online retailer can offer. We do all the advertising and merchandising, credit card processing and first-line customer care. All you need to do is decide on your price and send the products to the customers promptly.
    How does PlayTrade work?

Whether you have one or one million things to sell, listing them for sale at Play.com couldn't be simpler. Our step-by-step guidelines will ensure that your products appear on the site within a matter of minutes, and the next time a customer comes to buy that item, they are given the option to buy it from you. We then process their order on your behalf and let you know where to send the product. Once you have sent it out, we pass the proceeds on to you.
    Best Regards

you can copy and paste all you like, I still have the law on my side. If i had said to "madgames" ill buy this ds game from you for £22 heres my money, and paid it to them directly, I probably would have no recourse.

However I paid the money to play.com. Hence why trading standards have said I am covered, and why PLAY themselves have said I WILL be refunded. They also said they will blacklist the seller.

Dont understand why you are so willing to try and make out I wont get a refund?! when I will.

I'm not, I'm still going on at you to change your thread title, and will continue to do so.
