i don't know whether there are any strings attached with the £50 being added to credit accounts.

as for the £50 gift card....surely there can't be a min. spend etc.? i guess we have to wait and see.

also just received my 4th email. i ordered 4 different vouchers. so i'll either be getting a £50 gift card or 4 x £50 gift cards. i hope it's the latter!

just got my email for one of my orders, its got a diff name on the sign off so must be a few guys working through them.....overtime rate for them i hope :rotfl:

As a further way of our apology we will be sending you out a £50 Cheque in the post within the next 5-7 working days.
Mistakes like this are most unusual and I apologise for any inconvenience or disappoint this may have caused you.
This is what my email said I am getting a cheque not credit.I paid for mine with a debit card I don't have an account.am I getting £150 in a cheque then?

it well could be the case. very.co.uk would have lost out on far more money if they would have honoured all the orders.

what they have done is far better for them in the long run. sending out £50 gift cards/credit to accounts will be a small dent in their profits. but future sales from their new customers? = £miilions

I have checked my order online and it is showing as sold out, but they still have my money!!

I did not get an email confirmation so I suspect I will not get an email apology nor gesture of goodwill either.....unless others who were in the same boat have got an email?
