I've just received the following email:
Dear Ms X,
We are emailing about your recent order for Hot Air Balloon Flight for 2.
Between the 24th December 2010 and January 4th 2011 due to an inputting error the product that you ordered Hot Air Balloon Flight for 2 was incorrectly priced on our website
Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occasionally occur. In this instance we are unable to honour your order as per our terms and conditions but as an acknowledgment of our error we would like to give you the opportunity to buy the product at a discount of 25% of the correct selling price of £349. If you wish to take up this offer then please call us on 0844 822 0099.
As a further way of our apology we will be applying a credit of £50 to your account which you can use against your next purchase.
Mistakes like this are most unusual and I apologise for any inconvenience or disappoint this may have caused you.

I placed the order on my credit account with Very - however, the email is from Additions Direct (?). I know they're the same company but I find that weird. Also, the £50 credit has not been applied to either accounts. I wonder how long this will take.
Anyway, I'm glad they're being professional for once and admitting their mistake - unlike with the Madison cushions where they thought it was appropriate to charge and dispatch the cushions at full price without notifying me!0 -
I wonder if there are going to be any hidden rules attached to this £50 credit. Has anyone received any more details?0

You would only have a credit account if you ticked the box on a screen to accept it. I paid by Debit card so they shouldnt have opened an account.0

ive had the email except i paid using my very account so instead of them saying i get a £50 voucher i got this

resultMake £11,000 in 2011 challenge - £120/£11,0000 -
how can you tell if you've got a credit account?
Karlie - If you had a credit account you would have needed to have applied for one and signed (ticked) to say you understood you were opening a credit agreement.
If you paid up front with a debit or credit then you should not have a credit account.
I went through the screens so I know what they looked like.
It was very clear.0 -

I might not get an email because I sent Very a 'close my account' email stating that I thought it was bad that my first order had been cancelled. Please God, help me stop spending!0
