Hello Everyone - I am 104 days smoke free today! and am really happy as I have also managed two weeks without lozenges so I really feel like I have cracked it.

I just wanted to say to anyone struggling - hang on in there, if I can do it anyone can! It gets easier all the time to the point where you hardly give it a second thought! It is so worth it in the end!!:j

    Hi all :)
Just checking in to say thank you for all your messages, I will read through them properly some time in the week - I am celebrating my birthday today and yes I'm still fag free :) To be honest I don't see myself as still fag free - I just see myself as no longer smoking, end of :)
Have a fab day all and keep up inhaling that beautiful, clean fresh air :)

    Happy Birthday Jennie.

Erme, I don't really care if they should be sanctioned or not by the health professionals tbh. You do what works for you in the battle against the weed. You've found that in E - Cigs:T Just don't feel the pressure to cut down on the nic intake. Do it the way you feel is best for you. Not what others say, what your body feels.

That's the way I look at it anyhoo. Anything, whether it be ecigs, patches, inhalators, nic free, is better than smoking.

I know I'm going to struggle this week. So have the water at the ready, ready to do lots of cleaning

Monday - Sister's car has to go to garage a few towns away, muggins has to go with her and bring her home. Not a biggy unless you've met my darling sis :rotfl:

Tues - Gas servicing. They usually manage to break another bit of the boiler....

Wed - Finally get some housework done today

Thurs - Informed on Saturday, they are coming to rewire my house today. Sooooooooooo looking forward to that, NOT!

Friday, grounded again. Fella's car goes in for MOT, know it's needing a wee bit of work, so he's taking mine to work, so no wheels means a stay at home day for me.

So a rather busy week, although stressful. Hopefully will stay off the weed for another week. I AM PREPARED!!! =]

  • *waves* just delurking to say well done to everyone and good luck to all the newer folk :)

Oh and it's been 34 days!! Over a month for me. And I haven't had any of the champix in about 2 weeks either, so for the minute, I'm going it alone.

I've even been to a wedding and a couple of nights out with alcohol and stayed on the wagon. It does help that most of my close friends don't smoke and so the temptation to go and stand outside is diminished - I used to go on my own and make friends with strangers or drag my non smoking friends out to stand in the cold!!

Oh and a happy belated birthday to Jennie, and an extra special well done!!
  • well done Blue that's fab..keep it up !!

    hugs
