Great news NTC! :j
Be kind to yourself . . . our smoking habits were accquired over many years ( mine certainly were ) the huge change that we're all making by not smoking all takes time as well, you're doing brilliantly if I might say. . . and a little ' reward ' every now and again, is the least you can give yourself. :beer:0 -
Great news, puddle! It sounds as though Champix is really working well..and so swiftly. I have to agree with the packaging of fags....though saying that, I remember the words "Smoking Kills" always making my stomach lurch, but I carried one like everyone else.
You're doing wonderfully, NTC!!! :T I'm so pleased you're getting your eating under control. Re the choccy....it's the weekend, why not look forward to that reward each weekend. Viewed as such I'm sure it'll help, as you won't be feeling so denied.
Underpressure - I hope you and you Wife are both continuing getting further and further away from those nasty white sticks of evil.
All the best for you too, PIC!
Many congratulations to you, Daz on a YEAR free from smoking!!!:T:T:T Brilliant work!!!
Have a lovely weekend everyone and to all those lurking, why not join us and see if you too can start a new and healthy life? You never know, you may surprise yourselves. Either way it's well worth trying!

Struggling with my latest nicotine reduction. Just upped it back to what it was a few days ago....Did my calcs and didn't like it (vaping more on lower strength than was on higher strength)...just terribly restless etc but that could be hormones/meds related..

 Hi all
Just had a quick skim through and everyone is doing brilliantly :j
Hope everyone is having a fab weekend! Had a really busy day yesterday which I wouldn't have been able to cope with before, without the baccy. My auntie asked if I was mad about 'giving up' but changed her attitude pretty swiftly for some reason. She has tried before with Allen Carr but started again.
My friend (the smoking one?) borrowed my book and has now become a non smoker for the past nearly 2 1/2 weeks:T
Very proud of her!
Well done everyone0 -
Hi Spicy and VERY well done you!!! :T You've been so quiet for a while and I was wondering how things were going so it really is good to be reassured.
Stay strong, keep up the good work and:Never give in to thoughts of "just one puff/cig won't hurt" as sadly, all too often it does!I'm so very pleased to hear about your friend, though what a shame about you aunt. Still, you never know so, fingers crossed.
Best wishes all and have a wonderful, nicotine-free Sunday.

Erme, not eating regularly is a bad thing and can lead to weight gain not loss! It can also be the cause of mood swings!
I think it's more important than ever when giving up smoking to eat as well as possible and not skip meals!0
