Never mind Mouse you can get back to normal when it passes, it's just wise for now. Well done on the rest, who's a good girl then! :T
Many thanks for your feedback, Kev, we have one of them already, she's enough trouble as it is so thoughts of any more with peace pipes doesn't bear thinking of!!

It just ate my messages
I wrote a tonne too
So will keep this brief..
Sue can you get sugar free ice poles? That's all I want to know....How many cals per ice pole?
and geordiekev do you have the same handle on UKV and AECC cos I think I might recognise you though I have completely different names on there to here...
Please note (disclaimer) that the e-cig is an alternative to smoking that's way healthier etc than actual cigs and can be used as a quit nic device though that's not it's primary purpose..
Also what am I doing wrong apart from not buy my e-liquid from china (buy everything else though) if I spend £11 (approx) a week on e-cigs? I mean big difference between that and £20 a month
Also newbies to vaping need to be aware that like initially you'll probably spend about £200 or so (a good £100) on the e-cig on various bits and bobs till you find what you like - there's a whole new healthy world out there - so it's not for everyone...
E
PS...mouse try puerrh tea if you have a chinese supermarket near - delicious - half way between tea and coffee...also a mint after tea/coffee or just herbal tea but I suspect you want the caffeine...so tea:dance:
I believe in the power of PAD

Save you work as you go, Erme, that way you safe guard all that time and effort spent.
Thanks a lot for putting that note about the initial prices of vaping e-cigs.
I've no idea about the Ice Poles/Pops sugar content or if there are sugar-free ones, but when you compare them with most snacky type things, IPs win hands down as they're just water with a little flavouring and last a fair time too.

Hi guys
Hope everyone had a fab Christmas and is looking forward to a fab New Year.
After my horrible run up to the festive season - we've had a wondeful Chirstmas - really quiet and lots of curled up on sofa time. Many thanks to Sue & Erme for kind words and thoughts.
Not sure what we're doing for New Year as yet - not really party people - and DS will be out as he's off back to Uni on Jan 1st (seem to think i've been volunteered to taxi him..lol)
The non smoking is going really well, although i do keep forgetting the tablets - so may be in trouble when i go back to clinic as i'm not sure if it's ok to miss days etc. Have managed to get the snacking under control and am now back to shifting the excess pounds.
Erme - not many calories in ice poles or ice lollies unless you get the 'milky' types. I always have a box of Jack n Mollys lollies in the freezer (2 quid a box from tesco - and they're assorted flavours and don't taste cheapy) as they're mostly 'free' to have on WW plan.
Have a fab New Year all & lets all have a smoke free 2012
Hugs

Thought I would log in to wish all a Happy Smoke Free New Year.
I do follow the thread daily and remembered something about Alan Carrs book.I bought this about 5 years ago,and started to read it on nunerous occasions but never read the last chapter since, I read I would be a non smoker when I did(wimp).
I intend to read the last chapter soon.
Sue thanks for posting the Silkquit? link I downloaded and showed Beryl my saving since July over £1000.
She likes to shop does Beryl she may be at the crossroads no pressure from me but encoragement.
I was thinking about the way in which I quit smoking
I think I stopped the oposite way to which I started, when I started I coughed and spluttered until I thought I looked cool (not Fool)
I stopped by utilizing cigs gradually reducing smoke inhalation, equivalent to patches.
Anyway it worked for me,now where did I leave ACs book.0 -
Hi again Chrissie, I've been thinking so much about you so was absolutely thrilled to read your news of having had a fab Christmas, I'm really chuffed for you both. :grinheart Well done with 44 days complete!!!!! :T I know folk using Champix have said they've missed theirs occasionally, a bit like patches that people forget to change, but no ones ever had any adverse effects so, hopefully you'll be ok too.
We're not party folk either, too much stress, though I did offer to take all 1560 Sealed Pot Challenge members up to one of the members whose celebrating with "special friends", I don't reckon much on the chances - thank Heavens!!!! Whatever, you both enjoy each others company and all the very best for a safe and as healthy New Year as possible! Here's to it being a great one.
Hugs, Sue xx
The Angel v devil is a mind thing, Mouse, use your mind to see them there, then get the angel to kick the devil off!!! He has no right to try to get to you! Give yourself plenty of praise as you're really doing marvellously!!! :j Keep focused and don't forget a hobby..crochet..knitting??

Sue still going strong, really wanting that one but i know its not just one ciggie, need to keep on the straight and narrow. x0

Have a read through this Part Mouse and if you can, then print it off to help deter you from the one puff/one ciggy thoughts:
If you think taking a quick puff or just one ciggy is harmless, please, think again. The average cigarette is gone in 10 puffs and five minutes, but that’s five minutes of havoc as 4,000 chemicals infiltrate your organs. 0 to 10 Seconds
As you take the first drag, smoke passes through your mouth, leaving a faint brown film on your teeth. Toxic gases such as formaldehyde and ammonia immediately put your immune system on alert, causing allover inflammation.
Once in the windpipe, the cigarette smoke temporarily slows your cilia, the tiny sweepers that work to clear your respiratory system of mucus and invading particles. Meanwhile, airborne nicotine passes instantly into your bloodstream through the millions of capillaries in your lungs.
Your body gets a jolt of energy as that nicotine hits your adrenal glands, triggering an outpouring of adrenaline that raises your blood pressure and heart rate. Your heart is unable to relax fully between beats–and you are now at a higher risk of having a stroke.
At the same time, carbon monoxide (a toxic component also found in car exhaust) from the smoke is starting to build up in your blood, limiting your body’s ability to transport oxygen to your vital organs.Via the blood-stream, nicotine hits your brain, where certain nerve cells respond by letting loose a torrent of the feel-good neurotransmitter dopamine.
Could it really ever be worth doing again, only to wish to start quitting all over again soon?!!Sealed Pot Challenge 001 My Totals = 08 = £163.95 09 = £315.78 10 = £518.80 11 = £481.87 12 = £694.53 13 = £1200.20! 14 = £881 15 = £839.21 16 = £870.48 17 = £871.52 18 = £800.00 19 = £851.022021=£820.26[/SizeGrand Totals of all members (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j0
