...just craved so much for some strange reason
. Nothing eased it....
* So exactly what did you try to stop the cravings, Erme??
Thanks Erme ~ BUT ~ you didn't answer the question above, the important one.
Also, what are you working towards doing re getting down further? It's good to have a goal in mind, so have you plans yet about when to leave one or the other off?
Have a good day, Erme.
Sue xx PS, I've just read your latest post, good to see you're sounding positive! I still want the answer above though! I wouldn't bother with a decaf thread, Erme..though it might fill more time and keep you OFF coffee!!!
Apologies Davey, I got caught up with your laptop payments and forgot all about your 10 weeks and a day (2 now!) free! Congratulations Davey, you're doing soo very well indeed!!! :T
That is terrific news, Chrissie!!! What a difference to what is was the first time!!! :T Your cunning plan is what we always advocate on here, as both water and fruit not only freshen you up but fill you up too. Getting close to that first week free now!
Please, don't worry yourself that you're doing too well, some people float through without problems anyway and some of them are even doing it with cold turkey. Even if you're not like that you have to remember it's the Champix at work too. So long as you never become complacent you need not worry. I hope that perhaps makes more sense for you now. Just be happy at how marvellously you're doing, because you ARE! Focus on being proud and don't forget to treat yourself, all of you deserve rewards, you've earned them!
Sue xx
Hi there Ruby and really excellent news at being 25 days free of those nasty little blighters!!!!! :T I've seen 'traces' of youaround and was hoping all was well, and it obviously is!!! Do try not to look back, it's not worth it..other than to remember that you're now FREE from the awful chest infections and bronchitis that most of us have, especially in winter.
Go forward from now....the present..which is what you're giving yourself...a gift, the gift of LIFE! Be thrilled to bits at what you're achieving bit by bit, Ruby. I'm so pleased Rizla's recommendation is working and you're now sleeping well!!
Sue xx
JD, I've just been wondering where you were, but then it came to me in a flash that on the SPC thread you told me you were off for a week! ooops, sorry JD, but have a wonderful time!

I had nicorette nasal spray (one dose an hour) and about 2-3ml of nicotine liquid vaped.... in total
Planning on reducing nic/ml concentration when I finish the next big bottle (that I've diluted) of nic juice by 2mg...
Hopefully it won't be as bad as last time (reduced it by 3mg/ml only craved like a trouper. Sure it was psychological according to my e-cig buds but still)
Plan is to reduce by 2mg/ml every 6 weeks or so.... till I've vaping no nic.....So it'll take me a while but I'll get there....
Okay no decaf thread...Head going awol. Very tired from not sleeping over the weekend and now my MSE nemesis has started a new thread tooo close to eyeline... so thinking conspiracy, Conspiracy, CONSPIRACY...
and not wanting to go out and stuff.....
Does this ring any warning signs? (check my posts on Payment a day thread for more info)

Hi Team,
Just thought I woud check in to let you all know that I should reach nine month COLD TURKEY on Friday, but as I am in Belfast and will not be so available i am cheekily celebating a couple of days early.
Things have become somewhat more difficult in my quest recently as the wifey has caved in to vanity and started smoking as part of a weight control diet???? I thought something shady was going for a while but she fessed up after three weeks. Apparently looking good now, is far more improtant than living longer later on in life. Go Figure?? Having the rancid smell to contend with on clothes as well as her is once again very challenging. I hope she sees the light soon, she is getting enough grief from the minime's and me to do her head! Was in debt £23k- Not now (12/07-12/10):T
Did smoke- Not any more (26-02-11):j
I am not perfect but everyone loves a trier don't they??:A0 -

But then was having sprays every hour yesterday ...just craved so much for some strange reason
. Nothing eased it....
Erme, would you please stop avoiding the question?????!
Exactly what/how did you try to stop the cravings??
It will be so much better for you when you cut out the vaping..and have no fags at all! You'll honestly find you'll be so much less stressed when you have, it changed my life completely where stress was concerned.
That's why I'm always advising you to steer clear of others who rile you - they are never worth you stressing about. Anyone who wishes to conspire against you needs, quite frankly, to get a life! You'll bug him/her/them so much more by not rising to the challenge. Walk away (or switch off), breathe deeply and have a glass of cold water; so much better in the short and long run. BTW, have you ever tried Rescue Remedy, Erme? If not then please do as it's a natural product and (as many others have said on here) is absolutely marvellous for times when you're stressed...for quitting too!!!
NOW - would you kindly answer my question?!
Sue x
Oh what GREAT news about you almost being at the 9 months, shadydaz, I'm going to go against the grain and congratulate you anyway.

Please, please stay on the wagon and pay no heed to your wife; with luck she may soon see that it really just doesn't make sense. Whatever she does though shady, you can't risk throwing your life away by starting again. Stay strong and focused and walk away from where she or anyone else is smoking - and not too much alcohol - please!
I'm looking to see "I've quit for a year" here soon shady!!!!

Hi there JD! It' so good to see you. BTW did you mean shadydaz instead of Davey?
You're welcome to London (literally) I can't bear the place, possibly due to having to spend a couple of months there several years ago, enough to drive me bonkers!
Oh I do love snow, so long as it's not too much to disrupt everything.
Good to see you JD and very well done on the fag front or lack of em!

Many Thanks Sue. As for the Alcohol, I am as good as tee total. I think so far this calender year I have stretched myself to about 5 ciders.
Don't really enjoy getting blottered like I did ten years ago, certainly don't like managing the aftermaths either.
Anyway, I don't need to drink to have a good time. I am Mr fun...:j
T'will soon be a year and that (whilst I highlight these mini mile-stones along the way), is my first REAL target.
I will not be denied.:A
