Champix - 1 month, 6 days, 4 minutes smoke free
    £102.01 saved
1 day, 4 hours, 20 minutes life saved

    Hi all
Just thought I'd pop in to give an update!
And although those pics are horrific - I agree with determined new ms that we were all in denial when we were smokers anyway. After all, pictures like those were on cig packs - weren't they? And warnings? And we still smoked!

Anyway, well done to everyone :T (including me) :j

hello to you all, today is my first day as a non-smoker, i got the patches yesterday. This morning hasnt been too bad (just out of habit kepted reaching for one but they arnt there anymore). Apart from the health issues are the financail issues, £2000 a year better off ...an instant pay rise!!! Please let me succeed this time (4th try). My plan is to occuppy my time by washing furniture, paintwork and clothes etc. to get rid of the nicotine and get my flat smelling sweet again, the other day when i came home i could smell the stale smoke as i opened the front door ..had I had a visitor with me i would have been very embarrased. Anyway i will go back to the beginning of the thread and read every post looking for encouragement. cheers wish me luck lol Jackie.

hi, i have been a smoker for 12 years and decided to quit. i havent had a cig since monday. i put a patch on sunday but within half hour i was being sick, feeling dizzy and heart was racing. I did keep it on for another 2 hours but i kept being sick and feeling dizzy so then took it off. I am just having the cherry lozenges when i get a craving. My worst craving is in the morning. i am getting up at 5 craving for a cig. cant get back to sleep coz thinking about it. Its mad. I havent tried giving up before so dont really know what to expect.:o
