I'm glad I'm not the only one with a cat feeding baby!

Here is the stupid thing eating a brussels sprout she threw him:

I'm not having a good few days. I've trapped a nerve in my neck and my cat died last night :(

I love your pic, delain. That made me smile :) It's exactly what Floyd would've been doing.

I tried Joe with some fusilli pasta with cheese and broccoli. He munched away quite happily but I'm not convinced he swallowed much.

DH's work are having a BBQ/hogroast thing today for staff and families, so we'll be going along to that later. My favourite kind of lunch - a free one!

I had better give the pet crematorium a call now... :(

I am so sorry to hear about your cat :( My black one was run over last year and I was devastated on the way to the vets when they said she weren't sure if she'd last the night, she was only a year old. Fortunately she is still with us, or at least the people over the road, she doesn't like the kitten much and is more of a visitor now.

Sometimes they don't appear to swallow much, but if he's not still hungry afterwards then he's eaten enough :) I know with purees etc it can be easier because you can see what they've eaten and it's reassuring. Thats one of the reasons I'd say BLW is better, they're not just being fed until the food is gone, they are regulating their own intake IYSWIM, it's meant to encourage them to know when they are full.

If it helps, Squeak did BLW and although she's a ganet she does eat the food much more successfully now (if it's something she wants!) if you're worried, they can be spoonfed Weetabix, then you can definitey see it's gone. :)

I give Squeak weetabix at breakfast so I know she has eaten something and i give her ready brek before bed which she is always starving for so I know she is getting plenty.. she feeds herself her second breakfast, usually cereal or crumpets!.. and feeds herself lunch and dinner.. and various snacks in between.

She was putting her cheerios in OH's coffee earlier which kept her quiet for ages lol

    Morning,

Really sorry to hear about your cat Bigbird, they really do become part of the family.

My OH's youngest niece is 2 and tiny, they have done loads of tests to see why but can't see any reason, she is so cute though.

Poppy fell asleep earlier yesterday with me in lounge and stayed asleep when i put her in her bed last night. She is slowly getting better but did mean she woke up earlier in the night and woke a few times....never mind.

Sorry to hear about your cat Bigbird. It's such a huge loss when pets have to leave us *hugs*. Hope your trapped nerve eases off soon.

Took the boys shopping for holiday clothes. James appears to have an unhealthy obsession with neon items. I guess I won't lose him though :D

Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..
