In need of both wipes and nappies here, but have to wait until next Tuesday, when it's payday.

SS, hope hubby's Ultrasound goes OK. And he doesn't end up in hospital. My stupid OH is still refusing to see a doctor, and now we are not speaking. I'm just waiting for the point where he is so bad, that I have to call an ambulance again. :(
  • Morning! Happy Birthday 2nd Izzy and a belated Happy 4th Birthday for Christopher for yesterday.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

That is what my HV said all along and I completely agree. All babies are different and so a blanket is 'age' guide is mostly unhelpful.

Hugs for poorly mummies, babies and OH's. Kicks up the !!! for lazy OHs.

Henry was a really good sleeper when he was little, but now at 14 months still usually has one wake up a night. I can live with that though.

Nothing very helpful to add, weather is pants here so we might venture to soft play, but then again we might laze about at home :rotfl:.

The husband is in far better health than he has any right to be, we were almost at ambulance point last night because he was in so much pain but the ultrasound revealed a very healthy inside and so the pain is inexplicable. I am loath to suggest it might be stress related...

Hope everyone else is well, gentle hugs and a kick up the sore bum to Mr WM

I think age guidelines for weaning are absolute bobbins, babies are ready for solids when they're ready and that happens to them all at different ages. Better to give definite guidelines like: can sit up, has lost the tongue reflex, shows a definite interest in food and booger the age bit.

And Caz, why not plan where you're going while you tidy somewhere else - you'll feel better when you get home ;)

copied from facebook for Maz: I get 8.31p per nappy in boots including the £5 off £20, but I get sainsburies at 7p per nappy? Is that right? I think maybe there's a better boots deal I can't see online! :) (this is for 4+ size so that might be where it differs)
