Thanks muffin. :D Will no doubt be flagging again by Wednesday so might as well enjoy the weekend while I can! Good luck with final wedding plans, you must be really excited now.

Hey sazzle, I wouldn't even know where to start with a list now. There just seems so much to do. I agree with gothrockchic that writing a 40 before 40 list might be a good thing to do this year. Ha! :o Hope your mum's starting to feel better too.

And thanks show gal for checking in. Always nice to think that I'm not just chatting to myself. :p

We've just got home, was a 1-1 draw in the football which is lucky really as I'm a Blues fan and hubby is Villa so it can often cause tensions in our house. We did end up being fed too, which was lovely and means we can save the food we'd bought for today's dinner till tomorrow, making the pennies go further.

I'm still trying to source new car insurance but am so far seeing huge increases as I had a bump this year and even though I pay to protect my NCD it doesn't seem to make a difference. So off to see what bargains I can find or at least purchase something through quidco to get some cash back. xx

Well another Monday done, and apparently the most depressing one of the year!! Everyone ok out there?

I've had a fairly quiet day today. School was busy as always but I taught aerobics in PE this afternoon which allowed me to jump about and use up some energy and I worked the kids so hard they couldn't talk! At least it meant no bickering or answering back. Ha! :p Had a meeting after school and a parent dropped in so didn't get my marking done but decided not to bring any home as I wanted to spend some time with hubby. However, he's been busy organising a stag do and cooking me dinner so I plugged into the laptop and have been chasing up name changes still. Such a lot of effort required!!

On the money front, not much to report. We're waiting for a claim to come back from the pet insurance, who now owe us over £300. This needs to go straight out though as we still owe our wedding photographer for some extra pics we had his expenses from the wedding (he travelled to Ireland). Grrrr...

No spending otherwise and no debt payments so no change. Just trying to stay positive... :D

Now going to watch Biggest Loser to motivate myself to get off my a$$ and stop eating junk. xxx

Hello Loumac, I've subscribed to your diary too.

You must have started 2010 with similar debt to Mr Banwa and me, so although I probably won't post that much, I am avidly reading and cheering you along all the way. Plus, I like to hear the successes of fellow 11-in-11ers:)

Thanks Banwa! :D Am really appreciating all the support and messages. Hope 2011 brings you lots of debt clearance happiness.

Today I'm testing my mid-week blues theory. Today I feel cheery so let's see what tomorrow brings. I've had the afternoon out of class today which might have affected the cheeriness. However, I now have 60 books to mark which may start to bring me down... :o

Once again no debt clearance news...have just written a cheque for £281 which is horrid, but at least it comes out of pet insurance money. Oh except this hasn't arrived yet! So money will have to come out of my overdraft. However, at least I've cleared the last debt from my wedding. Nearly 18 months later I really should have paid the photographer. Oops.

Off to do those books, more biggest loser tonight and having eaten a kitkat, a lemoncake and a chocolate roll all while in the staffroom this afternoon, last night's motivation was clearly not enough! ;)

    Well it's Wednesday . . . and I'm still smiling! :j Just. ;)

Had a good day at school today as we are introducing new codes of conduct as part of our behaviour policy and today's was 'We are always polite'. After modelling polite ways of speaking to each other, my kids have been lovely all day! Only problem is that I can't walk anywhere without being asked how I am and am I having a nice day. Bless 'em! :D I was also out of class again this afternoon to do some faculty work so have been reasonably productive. As usual though, still have 60 books to mark. Ha!

Got to keep on top of everything to have another nice free weekend. :p

    Well here's todays question...

Do I cancel tutoring this weekend to give myself more time to do my own things.

e.g. This weekend I need/want/have planned to: clean the house, walk Roxy (the dog) with my friend Julia, visit my friend Deanna who I still haven't given her christmas present, visit my parents, start my new cross stitch, start reading a book (any book, haven't given myself the time to read in about 3 months), sort out my car insurance (quotes are taking ages to organise!), phone more companies to change my name, visit my friend Irene in Worcester to see her new baby and ummm..... that might be it. ;)

Or, do I do the tutoring to earn another £25 for my pocket.

Over in Worcester, Irene wants to get a takeway so this would then be paid for and anything else can go in the pot!

    Hmmm.... any thoughts? xx

    Happy Friday!!

Have had a productive day and worked hard at school to try and bring as little work home as possible. Didn't bring none, but less than normal so not moaning.

My head seems to be in a bit of a whirl though as I'm trying to prioritise what needs doing and when so humour me as I write lots of lists. This is what I'm thinking:

    Friday evening
    1. Mark as many literacy books as possible (Have 30 stories to read and it can get a bit hardgoing!).
    2. Walk dog with hubby.

    Saturday
8.15 - Drop hubby off for his running session.
8.30 - Meet friend and walk dogs for an hour ish.
    10.00 - Pick up hubby.
10.30 - Arrive home and sort out resources for tutoring.
11 - 12 - Tutoring. If hubby could get food shop at this time that would also help!
12.30 - Pay cheque from pet insurance into bank (arrived today1 Yay!) Update spreadsheet and transfer any monies online as necessary.
1.30 - Visit friend with (late) christmas pressy.
3.30 - Finish any marking not done Friday.
5.30 - Head over to Worcester with my friend. Take money from tutoring to be spent on takeaway. (Last one for 100 days as have just added myself to no spend on takeaway in 100 days challenge!).

    Sunday
    1. Go to church (first time this year. oops!)
    2. Visit parents.
    3. Visit in laws.
    4. SORT CAR INSURANCE
    5. Start new cross stitch.

Think that might be it. :o Now it's organised in my head I should be able to cope. Ha! All fails though if I don't do any marking tonight. Ha!
