10,000 Posts I've been Money Tipped!
I too have joined the sistercas £1.00 a day save £3.00 in the purse.I have a small saving tin that holds my odd coppers and five ps that I tip all the small change in at the end of the day, I also put in there any small change I find in the streetIts amazing how many folk throw coppers away and I'm not proud ,afterall money is money ,or in my case ice creams for the tribe .This is the DGC's ice cream money tin for our holidays in August so I am going to see if I can find another tin to save the pound a day in as the old purse its in at the moment will soon hopefully be filled.
No shopping today I cooked the small gammon yesterday and will slice it all up to freeze in portions later on.Should get a good few and as it only cost me £4.00 it was cheaper than buying sliced ham.
Hope everyone is having a good day,sun is actually shining here in north Kent for a change.IThe washing I did yesterday is all dried so I may do a bit of iroing this afternoon .
I have some salmon from the freezer with mixed veg and parmesan mash for dinner tonight I have three bananas that need using up so I may make a banana custard as well this afternoon.
    Take care all

    Morning all!
penny-pincher, don't overdo it this week! jackieo, best wishes for the family. Good to see everyone else is mostly good and in the bank holiday spirit. I can't wait for the world to get back to normal! Can't wait for the library to be open again so I can get fully into work mode again with my assignments and revision! Can't wait for it to warm up just a few degrees... would it be so naive to hope that the worst of winter is now over?

When I got home the other day royal mail and whoever delivers for M&S had left my packages on my doorstep! Now anyone walking down the high street could have looked down the alley, spotted them and ran off with them  The M&S package had a random frilly skirt(not even fully packaged) just dumped in my order! And Ann Summers had thrown in a free.... leopard print suspender belt :rotfl: Not the best "freebies" ever, I don't know anyone who'd fit the skirt and i'm sure m&s would charge me to send it back, scrooge!

I'm having a break from half-!!!!!d revision today and going for some OS fun at my friend's playing chess and having a cuppa! Lovely!

The kids I work with are like that! They just chuck away their coppers <insert confused smiley> I make a fortune out of them some days ;) best haul was 78p in a day after cleaning my minibus!! :D

Well the laundry mountain no longer exists :j, though I have just put WM on again so will have more tomorrow :rotfl:. I've sliced and frozen the bread I made in BM yesterday, a loaf will last me approx 2 months as I only have a slice of toast on a weekend usually! I've done some other odd jobs in flat too.

Just back from taking the dog out for walkies. Had a mini blizzard whilst we were out too!

Just realised i need to try and make my own cheese sauce for lasagne later. Last time i tried was a disaster - any tips anyone?

Sorted the kitchen, put away all the clean washing and put another load on.

Need to try and fix OH's laptop today too. But he thinks it's beyond repair. If we get it fixed we can sell it :)
