    :hello:Afternoon flyladies!!

I have done the bathroom!!:D:D:D Kids' rooms also done!!:D:D:D

Also, assorted loads of washing, a couple of taxi runs for DS1 and 2, and bought new printer paper for home, and a large tub of pens for school. I have washed the boys' bedlinen, but the rest of the room is their responsibility. DD's room is immaculate. She worked really hard on Tuesday moving all her stuff from the main bedroom into her new wardrobe.

I still have some sorting to do in the main bedroom after all DD's stuff has gone - one stubborn hotspot in the corner! I'm bored with housework now, so think I'll do my one-thing-everytime-I-leave-the-room and get there slowly. I will clear a bag of books to Oxfam this afternoon though.

I'm waiting for DD to get ready so we can pop into town - I need to transfer some money.

valli - love the bathroom! I'm going to start getting quotes after the end of January, when I get my Wednesday back. And plenty more blokes out there. ;)

Love and hugs to all, especially toots, lady-liberty and lamewolf.

    :hello:Hi to hex and dusty!!

    Anyone seen sexymouse this week???

    Hi
I would like to join you. This is my first post, I have tried flying before but couldn't cope with USA time of things then got stressed.

My aim is sort out my piles of filing and half started systems. Also the mound of stuff that keeps spreading across my room. Need to decorate my bathroom too.

I really haven't done anything apart from internet searches all afternoon. I have had emails from everyone I contacted and hopefully will get some info in the post tomorrow.

I really must go shopping as I promised OH I would so he didn't have to do it, why do I suggest these things? I might be lazy, get the bus into town, meet him for a coffee and then we can both go :D

    Hello all,

I'm a lurker in this thread, and do some of the levels each day.
Its similar to how I used to work the housework, in as much as, I made sure I did something in one room each day, leaving the weekend for me :D

    Friday ~ Spare room
    Level One

[STRIKE]The most important task first.. make time for yourself.. a haircut, manicure, or just a relaxing bath in peace!
    [/STRIKE]
Yep! can strike that one off :rotfl:
Strip, wash and replace bedding - Happens tomorrow
    Level Two
Sort through a box of toys/shelf/cupboard see if you can fit in some of the christmas stash - N/A
    Tidy a chest of drawers - N/A
I'm starting to think Friday might be an easy day :D
Vacuum, even if it means kicking all the mess into a corner heap! - I think this is cheating as the spare room is being decorated at the moment and OH clean up after himself.
    Level Three
Binbag Dance.. fling those broken things and empty packaging!
Wash windows and sills, and curtains and blinds! - See above, we don't have any curtains at the moment, and the windowsill is rubbed down waiting for paint.
Make sure games are in boxes and books are straight on shelves - Books are straight.
    Extras
    1. Dust all the light fittings
    2. Chase appointments/put off call and emails/catch up with a friend you have been putting off
    3. Check when appointments are due for dentist, opticians, smears etc.. Make notes in diaries/calendars

    oops my mistake!

Can anyone offer any advice? I have a steam generator iron - i love it to bits but i have a problem...... I live in a hard water area. I do descale the removable thing regularly, but last week I was getting virtually no pressure when the iron was horizontal!

All descaler products have to be run through when the iron is off - but you can't do that witha steam generator.

    Any ideas fellow flyladies?

I found this hope it helps.

    Hi

Can I join too? Had given up on housework as we have been redoing our kitchen/diner for the last year and half (yes you did read that right) and everything that was in the kitchen/diner is randomly scattered around the house. The kitchen/diner itself is full of builder's stuff and there's a constant layer of brickdust on everything. I've never been that houseproud but even I have my limits!

And this seems manageable - I love lists! I started yesterday and am loving my new look bedroom. I'm ignoring today's list cos I'm not worried about the spare room so I'm doing Monday's instead. Going to enlist DH's help too when he gets home...

    Ta everyone!
