Well, off to start most of this. I have a house inspection at 2pm (to ensure we haven't trashed the place I guess!) and we need to pass it before they allow us to move. I don't have a problem thanks to the lists here! This house has seriously, never been this sorted all at the same time!
So I told the little/middlies that they had to tidy their room this morning or we couldn't move. Which they did and then it all went quiet. I wandered in to find out why and there was DD2 (shes 8) tidying up the teenagers room (teen is away at Dads at present) so "things will be perfect for the man". Bless her.
The house is clean/tidy with the exception of DD1s room so I am entering shortly with bin bags and will load and shove into her wardrobe. Then its a hoover up and down and we will be ready.
Today so far:
Dailies (WM/TD/DW)
S&S in Kitchen and Bathroom

Valli:
So, did the elephant loo brush holder stay or go?
looks like a weekend of gibble sorting for record and vintage fairs - both in same week, end of the month  - and free ebaying for me, then.
The intention is to clear the stuff from under the bed and Him Indoors has offered a hand to fetch, carry and restock cupboards. Which is nice.
Hugs, spoons, sticks for those that want them and water in the right place for all of us:rotfl:‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Valli, your bathroom looks gorgeous and I'm green with envy!
Skylight, well done on getting the house so sorted .... must be lovely not to dread an inspection!
Sorry to hear about all the poorly littlies - there's some horrible stuff going around. Hope they all get better soon.
Had my hair cut and she blow dried it straight which makes me look really different as it's normally curly! DS didn't even recognise me when I picked him up from pre-school first of all!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

SHORTBIRD - lol at how observant you are. It has stayed - it gets a new brush every so often and I wash it out when (after) I have washed the bins.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Done - and breathe! I do need to clean out the bookcases/display shelves in the FR they need a dust and I'll do that this weekend. But DD1s room is spotless; just 2 bin bags of all her stuff on the floor/shelves and shoved them into the wardrobe of non-hung stuff! It is likely to fall out when she opens them when she comes home, but tough; she has had 2 weeks notice this inspection was happening.
And VALLI - love the bathroom and glad the sofa has been done!0
