    Hi

Had given up on housework as we have been redoing our kitchen/diner for the last year and half (yes you did read that right) and everything that was in the kitchen/diner is randomly scattered around the house. The kitchen/diner itself is full of builder's stuff and there's a constant layer of brickdust on everything. I've never been that houseproud but even I have my limits!

    Exactly the same here....

Today I am sorry to say is a flightless day. Absolute shocker of a carp day at work (ended up crying cause I was soooo fed up  grrrrrr)
Going to a party later and now messing about on FB and caught up with everyone on here.
I shall have a soaring flight tomorrow!! Promise.... :o

    Much love to all!!

    Not so bad.

NEWBIES the lists can look daunting and while I was hoovering thought I'd say what I do...........I work full time and do cadets 2 evenings a week. SO:

    Those evenings not cadetting:

Get in about 5, do approx 1 hour flying and then do tea.
Sometimes after tea I come on here and sometimes do some washing or ironing.
What I have decided to do this year is Wed eve catch up on all ironing and have a very early night
Thurs change beds, dust, nag to be helped tidy up, do bathroom
Fri - dust rest of house and hoover right through.
Sat do a major job/cadet prepping - I have a LOT of paperwork which is scheduled to start tomorrow.
Sun - I need a break so when the weather is nice I potter in my garden or have "me" time. Oh and blitz kitchen while tea is cooking.

I dont know how this will work out, PMT gets me in a terrible mood and lots of shouting gets done not cleaning!

Anyway I hope this helps - it WILL take a while PLEASE dont think you have to do everything in 1 go.

Greenbee - glad all is ok! and belated happy birthday.

    see you all tomorrow,

    1 step xxxxxxxxx
If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
    I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome! :p
  • PS I also hoover either upstairs or doanstairs every other day. and the kitchen worktops and hob gets wiped over every evening.
I dont have children but do have a messy hubby and 2 dogs, a nagging cat and 2 fish tanks!

Dailies done and started the bedroom. Then went to my voluntary job.

Everything fine with the family now and had my tea there tonight. They realised that I wasnt my usual self yesterday. GS2 hugged me and asked if I was ok. Slept like a log last night. Though some good has come out of it and notice taken of something I said.

Been to the opticians today and need two pairs of new glasses. One pair for reading and the other for the computer. Oh well.

Right Im going to sort some receipts out while Im watching a bit of tv.

Hugs and spoons to those that need them. Specially Toots.Lady L. Diva and LW.

    boddy thats good (((hugs)))

been a funny/peculiar day - didnt achieve much this morning and then had Harry's funeral at 4 - had to leave home about 3.15 and got back about 5.45 he was a lovely elderly man from the Church who died very suddenly - I liked him a lot and he will be sorely missed - it was a huge funeral and there was food after which was really nicely done and loads of people went back.

been trying to organise some stuff thats being collected tomorrow so need to crack on with that although I expect it wont be collected until the afternoon.

I just heard too that my NOF has broken her hip:eek: so I am waiting to here whats happening - whether she is in hospital or what - her DH has dementia (early stages) so she will be worried about him too - she is not long out of hospital after been ill with high calcium levels in her blood and was making very very slow progress so this will set her back again:(

it was minus 8 last night and something like minus 5 for a good part of the day - i think we are meant to get snow overnight again.

    tootsxx
    Peace will be mine

I have not done any flying as such but I have cooked some skinless chicken to leave in the fridge to pick at/mix with low cal mayo for sandwiche/jacket spuds etc. Also cooked a potato and onion tortilla thing, shredded a load of carrot and lettuce and made a cucumber dip thing. I popped to the local shop earlier and picked up some gherkins and pickled red cabbage. I am not a "meal" person, I like to pick little and often and tend to graze on the bad stuff.....crisps, nuts, bread, crackers with butter etc.
Now, though the fridge has lots of "free" foods ready for grazing!!

I did do dishes as I was going but have a couple more to do. I also wiped the surfaces down when I finished so it's not looking too bad.

I also did 35 mins on the wii fit plus this morning and I have set a challenge with DD for tomorrow morning. She has a party at 2 so will be out for a while.

'Nough babbling from me now. Hope all are well, welcome to the newbies, welcome back to Neveah and good luck to the others who over indulged at Christmas xx
