Finally, I was naughty. Very naughty. I recluttered the AV unit with this little gem -

We splashed out on a reduced one of these last year jojo and have got so much enjoyment out of it, after being music free for 8 yrs. Very good quality and takes up such little space. Neat and uncluttery:D

Can I re-join please? Was getting really good at this and loving it til I fell pg last summer and due to complications and SPD have had to rest as much as possible! Consequently the house is a nightmare, and with 11 weeks to go til baby's due something needs to be done. Not sure how much of the lists I'll manage but hope to make hubby follow it too!!

he sees his family - but no friends at all as far as I can ascertain; no long term friends
(xmas cards showed this - he had hardly any)

  • it means nothing christmas cards. when i met my oh (possibly ex oh, will explain once ive calmed down) I had just moved to a new city, didnt know anyone other than my work collegues and flatmate and prefered to spend our weekends since we were communtiing cross country being together rather than catching up on friends.

i dont have many close friends as after school they went to uni and i went straight to work so we lost track of each other. ive 3 good friends that i know i can call any time of night or day if i need them but none of them live anywhere near me so whilst we might go weeks or in some cases months without talking to each other due to other things going on in our lives, when we do meet up or pick the phone up to call its like time has stood still and we will chinwag for hours.

personally i like that i only have a few close friends and the rest are aquentinces as i dont want every man and his dog knowing my business. im only on facebook to keep in touch with old school friends so that they dont think im teribly antisocial :rotfl:

Valli - sounds like my DH!

Snap! But we live in the same street as MIL and SIL. See MIL all the time (she has been here for 2 hrs ironing for me). SIL who lives 40 yards away we see 3 x a year and usually because we bump trolleys in Mr T.

I didn't have the screaming abdabs. I didn't have the energy but stayed up late mulling things over. DS1 came down at 1am and made me a cup of tea. I was pleased but unfortunately it confirmed my suspicians that he plays COD on the PSE all night. DH marshalled the boys to take down the decs. DD1 disapeared with the 9am bus to see her friend. She was supposed to be washing my hair:(. DH drove me to MrT. It was heaving. We had to queue for 30 mins to pay and the man in front had the dirtiest hands I ever saw and he stank.

WM on TD seems to be taking longer and longer to dry things might have to buy a new one but need to save every penny as DH's niece got engaged on NYD and the wedding is in September in Greece:eek::D:eek:
