    evening all!

just caught up with the thread.

JackieO - what sad news and also for fairylittle's DDs friend. Life is so unfair sometimes. It affects so many people when a young person dies before their time. x x x

JackieG - I too have £2 in my sistercas fund!:money::D

We went shopping to Worcester today and I bought a pair of cords - makes a change from living in jeans - you wont catch me in a skirt!:D
Also bought a pair of jeans - both from M & S but I dont like the jeans so they will have to go back.

We're on an economy drive now the new year is over - need to get some savings back in place.

havent had time to take the tree down yet so hope to do that tomorrow before work.

My cold seems a bit better, been taking flu-plus.

(((hugs))) to those in need x

    Evening all,

JackieO...so sorry to hear that news....condolences to the family....to her baby's father too, as some young people are just not able to handle death.

As JackieG said MrsRogers, I'm wouldn't take my tree down until after 6th Jan, which in Irish is known as Womens' Christmas, but it doesn't go up here until about a week before Christmas, so maybe I don't have as long to get fed up with it.

OH still not well, won't let me get doctor but is eating very little and only spent about 5 hours out of bed on each of last 3 days....have never known him to do this before in all our 40 years together....think I will ring tomorrow anyway unless he is appreciably better....bad cough, head pains, am more anxious because of his heart problem, will see to-morrow. So, no dinner cooked here for 3 days now, I have been fridge grazing and filling up well....really need to do something about the weight but am so easily distracted....maybe when all the 'rubbish' as in cake, pudding, chocs etc are gone...

Weather very mild here, allegedly we are to get some of that s stuff back towards the end of the week....I may emigrate to OZ and chance the floods!

Just one more baby cardigan to do and then I will be up to date on my stuff for 2010...can then start on 2011 presents, have so much wool I might even manage to get by without buying more...if I'm not tempted that is..

Hugs to all in need or want of one....welcome to newbies

    Marie

Thanks for that Dippypud...hope that I will be able to catch it on 8th...she is very good to watch I think. M
