Ahhhh...just the last official day of the course - so no going in on a Wed anymore but I am still ploughing on with it, don't worry!

So my Wednesdays are free now - woohooo:beer: Mind you, I need to use them and do those last assignments. Im not sure if I'm working on Wed from Sept yet - i have told them I'm available so I guess I'll know soon. Either way I don't mind. I'd like the day off still but better to have a much sought after full time TA job if I can:)

Lovely to 'see' you again Mrs...was just wondering where you were;)

Today's CSA letter says ex's payments start next week - they've added on the arrears to his weekly payment and he should pay £147 a week:eek:
There's no way he'll accept that so I'm not holding my breath...

So, last session at college is done - I'm on my own now;) I need to get a move on...being bad and procrastinating again:(

Girls are out right now having dinner with ex for his bday...so lovely not having to cook tonight. There's leftover chilli in the fridge which I could have, but might just fancy cheese on toast or something equally lazy instead.

Spends today have been £1.50 on coffee and chocolate at college. I used my loyalty card in the cafe to get a 2nd coffee for free. Straight home after and not spent anything else. I transferred £75 from spends account into my savings and £49 from ebay sales went across too.

I've been contemplating a new car a lot - the one I have is rusty, 11 years old and I think will need money spent on it soon - so I fancy something much newer - using some savings as a deposit and then monthly payments on top. I think if I get something newer and decent it's more likely to last me...hopefully costing less. Bro in law is on the case for me:D Exciting:T

    £31.90 on Onepoll...grrr it's slow. But I will persist until I get my £40:D
So, girls are out with their dad for a while, being fed which saves me cooking tonight - always good on a Saturday. Oven fish and chips for me then.

I had an email from BT as my broadband usage had gone over the limit - turned out I've been over the limit for months but they only just told me - and add a charge on eash month for going over:mad: So I have now upgraded to the 40gb limit and it's costing me less each month...weird! But I am cross that they've added on a charge each month and not told me I was going over - I could have upgraded to the higher limit months ago. Oh well, sorted now.

I have a pile of ironing the size of a small mountain to get through - will have a nice cider and watch tv later while doing some. I'm doing some Uni reading right now so I can get cracking on my phonics assignment.

Asda delivery is coming tomorrow - i need to go back to my order later and add a couple of bits. I'm all meal planned for the week - I shall post that too, got out of the habit of that.

Right, time to make another cuppa and do some more work:p

Right here's the meal plan -

    Sun: HM Lasagne and salad
    Mon: Roast chicken
Tues: Chicken+bacon pasta bake (LO chicken from roast)
Wed: Pizza and chips (dd2's friend here so that's easiest)
Thurs: Jacket pots, chicken and spag hoops
Fri: Chicken chow mein+noodles, spring rolls
    Sat: Chicken wraps and wedges

Not very exciting but all stuff girls will eat:cool:

I've done a £3 P-cone survey today and listed 4 items on ebay...1 has just sold and been paid for so nearly £10 there. I wasn't going to put it on a buyit now for so much but was worth trying and I'm glad I did:beer:

Time to go and do some ironing now while watching a Lovefilm dvd. I've done quite a bit of reading and made a few notes - my intro and what follows after that seem to be sorted. Quite pleased:D

Ooops i've not updated all week:o
It hasn't been a very eventful week - I was doing so well with not spending hardly anything of my weekly tax credit spends...then I went to the shops with dd1 on Wed and bought her a few bits. She did need summer things though and 2 skirts were reduced and I used my 10% student discount on it all....so not too bad.

Needless to say ex didn't pay the CSA payment he had to this week - he rang them and they've been bl00dy useless - sendning all his correspondence to an old address that I never gave them! I gave them the address of where he is now...but noooo, they had to use an old temporary address he had 2 years ago when I went to them. SO he only had all his letters forwarded this week:o And they're doing a reassessment as had old wage details, not new job - even though I told them the new job details and the day he started:mad:

We're not doing much today - rainy here yet again. I just want a dry day to clear the pile of damp washing on the airer and get all the uniforms washed.

Letting agent doing there annoying 3-monthly check on monday so I need to have a mad tidy/clean up this weekend. not that it's that bad, I've been keeping on top of it all, just have piles of summer clothes in my room, on the landing...looks like a jumble sale up there;)

Town tomorrow so dd2 can have a haircut...that's about it. Ex is busy tomorrow so can't/won't see girls...nice;)

Ok, time to get dressed....had a lovely long lie in as I have been completely exhausted this week. Just 5 weeks to go...:rotfl:

No visit to town today - dd is out with friends instead which was absolutely fine by me - couldn't be bothered with wandering round the shops:o

I had a very quiet, lazy day yesterday. dd was still feeling a little below par so she watched dvds all day and baked a cake while I pottered about, tified my room, sorted stuff for jumble/ebay and dusted/tidied both bedrooms.

Today I've done the ironing - well not all of it, but 1.5hrs was plenty - we have clothes for school so that'll do me:D I've nipped to the shops for a few bits...dd1 is cooking at school so needed to get pastry and tomatoes for that as well as bread, fruit and milk for home. I've just cut the grass and tidied the garden up a bit and I cleaned the bathroom - need a rest now:)

Time for a sandwich I think before doing soemthing esle...not sure what yet...college work or more tidying...or sorting stuff to sell on ebay??;)

If anyone's still around - do you have any opinions on this....?
Ex has announced on FB he has a new girlfriend...yes, he only had the other one in March/April..onto another now:o So...he puts the 'xxx is in a relationship with xxx' bit then a happy smiley photo of the pair of them appears:mad:

So, both girls are friends with him - they didn't know he had some new bit...nor do they need to in my opinion. I think it's wrong for them to see dad announce it on fb when they can see.

I have said to him they shouldnt be friends with him as it's not right for them to see that...or for them to just see statuses all about going out etc from him. Of course he was not happy, says that they aren't bothered and what business is it of mine?!

SHall I insist they 'unfriend' him? My sis and friend think it's thoughtless of him...but so is making plans on fathers day that dont involve them eh?! Thats just him:mad:

  • I agree its thoughtless and sensitive ggrr what a plonker...however I wonder if you should speak to the girls? Ask how they feel about finding out this way? If they don't like it then ask what they think they could do about it ie speak to dad themselves, write him a letter, unfriend him etc...or if they say they don't mind then maybe you could say ok I respect how you feel but if ever you change your mind or if something is on your mind you can always discuss it with me.

That way you are giving them skills for accessing their feelings and how to cope with them feelings. I know as a mother I would want to wade in and sort it for them but maybe speaking to them is the way to go?
