Happy belated birthday wishes for yesterday :bdaycake:
I have found your new diary purely by chance, the name change threw me.
I have just read your new diary, congrats to booking your holiday you & your girls deserve it.
Enjoy the iphone, everyone deserves a treat.
Have subscribed now I have found you again.

Fab to 'see' you again, how have you been?
Just enjoying the peace here, lots of work to do...just having a 5min browse on here then back to it.
As for holiday - can't wait:D I definitely wanted to get away this year after not going last year. Girls will love it with their cousins and I get my sis for company too - all good!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hi Milly, must get used to your new name; sounds very sexy
Everything is good, got myself a new job. A big drop in salary but I get to spend more time with hubby which is all good.
Have booked a holiday to France in June for 2 weeks, also booked for Ivylive festival in September a weekend of music and camping should be fun.
DD has booked tickets for Take That in July; so lots of nice things to look forward too.
The girls will love the holiday & it is great that :wall: will be coming, you can relax while he entertains the girls.
Uni sounds great, great advice from your tutor regarding your 3rd year, you can always change your mind.

Sexy?!? Oooh lord, no;)
Wow, a new job - well done you. And all the better if you can see your hubby more...the most money doesn't necessarily mean the best job does it? I love my job, but most definitely not for the wages...they're dire, but it's a job I love to do:D Plus I get to spend a lot of time with the girls (when they want to anyway:o), but at least am home after school and in hols.
My application form for the 3rd year is sat on my tutor's desk waiting for her on monday morn - I was quite pleased with how my personal statement turned out in the end, even though I had no ide what to write at the start:o I'm still not sure it's the right choice for me - I swing from really wanting to do it, to thinking I'd be mad to and just want a rest;)
Ooooh Take That - are you going with your daughter? My sis got tickets as did my best pal, but I decided not to go with them...might regret that:) But, with my funny tum, I just don't like to plan things like that, when I'm away from home all day...a hol is different as I still have a 'base'...a place to go I guess.
Anyway, nearly done with this assignment...it's a very boring one:( Going to finish then treat myelf to a lie on my bed in the sun with my book for an hour:TI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hi Milly
I totally agree better to have a job that you enjoy, the money is second. Your job is ideal as you get to spend the holidays with the girls, so no relying on anyone for childcare. Just think when you have your degree it will be so worth all the hard work, building a better future for you & the girls.
Excellent news regarding your 3rd year application, you have done so well this year as it has not been easy for you, you cope admirably so feel proud of what you have achieved.
Yes seeing Take That with my DD, she has recently split from her boyfriend of 5 years, it was a total shock and very upsetting. So have spent a lot of weekends commuting to Cheltenham as she moved house & Counties so knew no one.
Finish your assignment and then have a lovely pamper day & relax.

Been away this last week, so a very belated Happy Birthday!
Well done on signing up for the degree course, I did wonder why you were undecided when you got this far? And well done on pluggng away at the assignments:T It seems you've had a busy and productive half term.
All this talk of iphones reminds me that I've had my Blackberry for 6 months and I haven't got round to using any more of its features than the basic phone I had before. Definitiely needs to go on my 'must do' list.0 -
I don't feel like I've been very productive maman but have had a busy week:D
The girls are with their dad, having roast at his mum's and back in an hour...saves me cooking for them later.
I nipped to Argos this morning to pick up something my sister wanted and was out of stock by her. I also went to Tesco and bought cake to take to work tomorrow, that was £4.50. I also got a few other bits, spending £12 altogether. I nearly bought a new doormat in Argos, to replace the one I ruined yesterday:o but then though this one will last a bit longer....keep my money for another day.
Not feeling great today, came over all odd in tesco so quickly got out of there! Tums just unsettled again and I feel shattered..great for going back to work eh:( Will get an early night and hopefully feel brighter tomorrow. Girls weren't back til 10 last night, was a long day for them. DD2 was up at 9 and dd1 at 10 so hopefully they'l be ready for an early night too.
Wages have gone in today, nice. I wrote a list of my dds and money coming in yesterday as I seem to have been a bit lax about this recently. Wages, HB and CB nearly cover all of my outgoings - my HB is reduced more this year due to my student loans, but I won't need to use much of the loans/grant to live off which is good. I only need to use about £40 a month of student money to pay the outgoings. That's allowing £100 for Spending account money and £55-60 a week into the Grocery account. Spends accoutn will have to cover dd1s school lunch money now - she has a card that I top up, but she doesn't use it every day...she wouldn't eat otherwise, wouldn't carry any food:o
Ok, going to attempt a quick plan of my next short assignment before girls back at 3:)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Milly hope your feeling better now that your home, take it easy & relax, here's hoping your okay for school tomorrow.
Typical teenager, my daughter was the same wouldn't carry lunch or a coat in winter. Used to arrive home from school when the weather was bad wet through & cold.

That made me laugh - my eldest just like that! Last year she'd go out in the freezing cold in just her school sweatshirt, mad. At least this year the uniform now has a blazer so she has that over a jumper - looks a little warmer;) DD2 still goes with a little box full of lunch - how long that'll last i dont know!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
You feeling a little better Milly?
Regarding DD2 it might change when she goes to Senior school.
I can remember my daughter telling me that there was nowhere for them to hang coats & this is why the kids didn't bother, they had to carry them around all day from class to class. Looking back she changed her diet in year 10, started to make her own lunch, very healthy food, changed to wholegrain bread & ate more fruit & salad.

I'm not bad thanks....tum been rubbish though, noisy and unsettled, quite uncomfortable. It's usually ok during the days tho, so sure work will be fine. I wonder if it's things I've eaten/drunk in the last few days?I really need to sort out a new signature!0
