'Be Happy'...Milly's mission for 2011

Good morning - quick update as girls still in bed, peace for me here;)
Well, tis my birthday today - another year closer to a big birthday:eek: We haven't got much planned - I have some boring things to do, dd2 is coming with me to keep me company as it's my bday hehe:rotfl: I have to hand in my application form to join the 3rd year of the full degree...sat nd did my personal statemtment yesterday. I need to get petrol and couple of bits in Tesco...so seeing as we'll be there we'll do next week's shopping...with my £6 off a £40 spend. I have the list - won't be a huge shop, got a fair bit here.

I also need to return the house key to the letting agent - dd2 locked us out yesterday, at 5pm with my bag, keys and phone in the house:eek: I panicked that, t 5pm, the agents would have gone but they were there - rang and checked on my friend's house phone and she took me there....major panic though:D

Also dd2 and I nipped to town as she wanted to get me a present - got to the car park and I'd lost the ticket:eek: It's an automatic £25 to get out, but I just couldn;t pay it - so dd2 and I walked back to the shops and lo and behold my ticket was lying on the ground by the cashpoint that I'd used:rotfl: What a bit of luck;)

My mum and stepdad are coming here tonight to take us for dinner...so that'll be lovely. Girls are off to a competition tomorrow, leaving at 8, so need to get bags redy and packed lunches done tonight...and hair all done. Soa day to myslef tomrrow - doing uni work, most definitely:T

Had a nice meal out last night, we weren't late back so got girls hair done for today - they've gone to their comp now so I have a lovely long day stretching out on front of me:D

I've tidied their room...need to give it a dust and hoover later on. Same needs doing to the lounge but my main job today is to carck on with Uni work. Wondering whether or not to go to the library, but I don't think it's desperate...might go next weekend.

I must get my backside in gear with the money now...have had a bit of an expensive half term and seem to have taken my eye off the ball...I know it's because with the student loans I'm not short...so have been a bit naughty and not as MSE s I could. Next week and back to school will help. I think I'll join the NSD challenge again for March, focus myslef a bit.

Time for some breakfast and get the lounge tidied - i know when the house is neat and organised I feel better and will be more likely to sit and churn out some work:j

I haven't got many apps and not up to scratch with all it can do - but am getting there! I managed to persuade my sis to order one too:D

I am still discovering things mine can do and I've had it nearly a year!

Just do a search on the free apps on the App store. You can get all the usual ones like Facebook, Yell, Google etc. There are a couple that i have paid for like Bejeweled and Scrambled - real timewasters!

Same here....I think cleaning actually gives me a buzz Off to change the beds and hoover upstairs.

Right, I'm just sitting with a coffee before I go dust and hoover so will post my meal plan for next week while I remember.
So, here goes:

Tonight: Pizza for girls, something from freezer for me
Sunday: Girls having roast lunch at their dad's, me - again, something from freezer!
Monday: Mince hot pot - new recipe from my new cookbook:D
Tuesday: Chicken chow mein, noodles and spring rolls
Wednesday: Beef stew and mash
Thursday: Jacket pots, chicken and spag hoops
Friday: Girls with their dad
Sat: HM Curry, rice and naan
Sunday: Roast chicken

I have most of the stuff needed - will need a chicken for next weekend and swede to go in the stew, some fruit for work and bread, but thats it. I did shopping yesterday in Tesco, with my £6 off it came to £58 and that included a £3 lightbulb and some snacks for girls for today, so not bad.
