Lil_Me, thanks for the boulangere potato recipe. I'll try that as I'm really missing dauphinoise. I keep meaning to try it with fromage frais.
Went to my WI tonight (day early as I'm busy tomorrow). I lost 1.5lbs which takes me to exactly 2st gone!
The potatoes were really good! I found the recipe in a farm shop I visited a few weeks back. It does call for 30g butter, but I didn't use this. You could also easily add some cheese on top for a HEA but I had so much cheese in my chicken I don't think I needed any more!! The milk in the sauce thickens up nicely though.
Congratulations on your loss! That's wonderful! 2st loss is such a nice place to be at. I started to plateau a little at this point though as I got a little complacent.
WI for me tonight. Hoping for 1lb to get to my upper target. Whitehall, thank you for that! If I can change my targer by a couple of lbs then I'll be all set! Will check with my consultant later I'm sure she won't mind as I help her out and have been paying to go since April last year!0 -
Morning all! Been a bit manic over the last week, so haven't checked in. WI last night and I sts, which is about right - I've had a few good days but a few slip ups too. This week, however, I am back on track!
Food for today:
B - fruit, yog + oats (HEB)
L - cajun chicken salad + feta (HEA + 1syn)
D - bolognase with SW chips and salad (1syn)
S - yog, fruit
I am happy to be taking it seriously again this week, I have a hen do at the races in May and I need to fit in to my fancy outfit (can't afford to buy a new one). I reckon to get there I need to loase about 1.5 stones, which should be doable.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Well I took the plunge, went and got weighed last night (weight as I expected it to be
).
Feeling very positive, the plan has changed loads since I did it last (about 10 years ago now !) - just goes to show how long I've struggled with my weight .
Determined this time to lose it and keep it off, done this too many times now and I need a plan for life, not just a quick fix.
I'm doing EE today:
B - 28g porridge (HEB) with milk (HEA), 1 ryvita original (part of HEB), banana and pear
L - Chicken and sweetcorn pasta (mixed with a tbsp of light mayonnaise - 3 syns) with side salad
D - Salmon, jacket potato (with flora extra light - 1 syn), brocolli, carrots, cauliflower, peas
Snacks - not sure yet, need to check my books !
If I've done anything wrong, feel free to kick me up the bum
that looks good to me - you just need to add more syns to your day. you are allowed up to 15 a day and it is reccomended that you use them
I havent been on for a few days. had my WI and STS which is ok as I have only been half heartedly following that wagon.
but i had a bad day yesterday. it was a huge work meeting that started with coffee and shortbread biscuits (x6).
lunch was a trio of triangles with white bread and a couple of spring rolls
dinner was fish and chips as i didnt get home until 830ish
today is green
b - weight watchers fromage frais layer (1.5), hifi (heb)
snack - apple
l - ww fromage frais layer (1.5), 2 babybel (hea), wotsits (5), apple
not sure what is for dinner yet
ps SKINTSLIMMER - I saw you talked about an asda cheats dyno rod soup, what is this???0 -
Hi everyone.
Some fantastic losses and some good STSs going on here today! Well done everyone :T
Had my second weigh in this morning. Only 0.5lb off but as 4.5lb came off last week I'm looking at this as a good average
Still feeling very positive about the plan and apart from a bit of windy pops I'm getting on with it very well
Today:
B: Blueberries & grapes with my Activia FF yogurt, 1 x Alpen Light bar (HEB) (save the other for later)
L: Chicken salad, 2 Jacobs Savours crackers (3 syns) 2 Dairylea triangles (HEA)
T: Family fave - spag bol
May have a glass of vino as it would be rude not to with spag bol on the table0 -
Hugs for all the 'wagon fallen off' people.
Lil_Me and Blah11 Well done on the weight loss!
I am desperately trying to get this right this time. When I did SW in 2009 I managed to shift a bit using success express. I know that EE is almost the same but I just can't seem to lose anything so I am not doing it right yet. It is just a matter of making sure I do it properly, I know. I haven't really got my head around it properly.
DH doesn't help as he sat next to me last night eating peanuts. He needs to eat more and I need to eat less.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Thank you h007, I shall have some cheese on my jacket potato
Just had some Ainsley Harriot chilli cous cous for a snack, some left for this afternoon if I get peckish too. I checked online and it said it was free on EE but if anyone knows different then please do shout !
I'm in awe of your weight losses, you're all doing so well :beer:Save £12K challenge 2015 # 173£0.00/£10,0000 -
Really angry with myself over the 4lb gain this week. Deserved it all but I got complacent and stupid.Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

BACK IN SERVICE

Don't despair - get on Dizzy's tank, have a look through your book if you have one and eat loads of superfree. WE CAN DO THIS!!!!! xx
Im not just carrying my Xmas gain....Im dragging it around on the floor, along with the Bruges gain....and the inevitable steroid gain:rotfl:
ps SKINTSLIMMER - I saw you talked about an asda cheats dyno rod soup, what is this???
Its when you're feeling super lazy....just buy a bag of asda pre chopped soup veg mix 99p - then you only have half the amount of chopping to do for the extra stuff you want to add
Well my lovelies the tank is now back in service seeing as we all appear to be in dire need of its food fairy protective shielding qualities. I must say, me and my mahoooosive gains (not actually sure what they are as I didnt go to WI last week but Im talking really about from bruges onwards ) found it a little difficult climbing onboard today:o
Im still feeling grotty, headache, hot&cold chesty, but Im pretty sure my tabs are doing the trick, Ive asked Mr Dizzy to try get home in time today to get me to class so I can just weigh & run ......well not actually run, that would be a bit of a silly thing to try with my wobblies on the crutches :rotfl::rotfl: But I figure If I dont go tonight to WI then its just a realllllly slippery slope im heading for! I can actually see the hall where class is from where I live, so its only 3 min in the car (or 30 min for me to walk......in daylight, in the dark my balance goes tits up so i look like a real old drunk and Id have to set off the day before)
right not sure what sort of day today is maybe green?? ive only had fruit & yog so far. I will post some sort of menu later......
OH BUM  Ive had some dried country soup mix cooking (pulses) to put in a dyno rod later - and ive let it boil dry :mad::mad::mad: STOOOOOOOOPID DIZZZY didnt read the instructions when I picked them up and its been a right faff soaking it overnight then boiling and simmering before use - now its off in the bin:(
Oh im off back under the blankie.....ive left the door to the tank open & the keys in the ignition x x0 -
Last night my two dd's had fish and chips while I was good and had jacket potato with philly and salad. It was torture smelling the salt and vinegar on the chips and not having any myself. This is a real turn around for me as I would normally have given in and pigged out
That superglue must be good stuff on the tank
