    Day 2 today.

Plan to make a weetabix cake today, I found the old recipe in my kitchen, but it doesnt say how many syns per slice :(.
I have decided to use wholemeal flour in it instead of white flour.
    To lower the carb content.

Also have decided not to use my syns on sugar products ,
sugar causes insulin highs which slows down weight loss,
I need all the help I can get cos I dont loose weight easily.

Also thinking about joining the sw online service,
are there any discounts going about ?
I cant face the classes , I get too dizzy in busy enviroments.

    Congrats to all LOOSERS :T.
    Kindness costs nothing :)

  • Morning All,

I had a lovely surprise when i got home from work last night - DH decided he was taking me out for a meal  - i nearly fainted when he said it - he is even tighter than me with money!

Went to a local pub and had the hunters chicken - i swapped the chips for a jacket potato - swapped peas for beans (even though they came on the wrong plate and had to swap with DH:rotfl:) - gave my onion rings to DH - luckily the BBQ sauce was non existant :rotfl: (they always get something wrong!) I was on a green day & had no syns or hebs during the day so i am going to take the chicken & bacon as heb & cheese as second hea! Oh and i gave the chicken skin to DH aswell (i hated it even before i was on SW!) and i gave the butter away! I had to have some ketchup (1) though as the whole meal was dry! :o All washed down with a diet coke

Resisted a desert but when i got home i had a fibre plus bar (6) small box smarties (3.5) hazelnut options (1.5) and 6 tbsp squirty cream (1.5) (it feels really naughty having squirty cream on hot chocolate!) whilst watching biggest loser USA (recorded) - i love it!

So i ended up using 13.5 syns and both hea and heb's - not bad considering!

    :A

    Today looks like this

    Green
B - 3 x plums gone passed best so chopped up in ff fromage frais & cinamon
    S - Banana
L - Pasta with passata, mushrooms, baked beans and onions
    S - apples
D - Quorn chilli (from freezer - not sure what is in it! but free on green as written on tub!) with rice & possibly the swede that is looking sorry! Might have leftover bit of cheese on chilli - 37g low low!
S - Fibre plus bar (heb) Scan Bran x 5 (heb2) with quark & options (2) milk in coffees (hea)

Then i can have a bit of choco if i fancy it tonight!

Need to either go to gym (have cancelled it but still have until end Jan to go!) or use the exercise bike at home - think the exercise bike will win as i can read my book whilst on it! Just keep going at a steady heart pumping speed!

Well done to all losers & welcome all newbies!

Good luck those still left to WI x

WI night for me tonight and not looking forward to it. Have gone over my syns on a few days and as I have been suffering with bad headaches and neck and shoulder pains I have been eating more chocolate than normal. Hoping it won't be too bad as done lots of exercise and eaten lots of superspeed foods.
Good luck to all WI today x

    Morning all :hello:

Welcome newbies (we are getting inundated with dizzies, lol!!) & congratulations to the losers (especially daisy!! nothing wrong with a lb loss woman!! :naughty:)

I'm still full of [STRIKE]snot[/STRIKE] cold - have been sticking to plan but my food has basically been weetabix, soup & potato for the last couple of days... comfort food really.

The dynorod is now finished so I'm going to attempt the butternut squash, sweet potato & parsnip soup that was mentioned a while back (sorry I can't remember who :o) - will try & do it today or tomorrow. Can I ask whoever it was what seasoning was used?? Was it curried?? My head is like cotton-wool so can't remember if you said.

    Green day today methinks:

    B - 2 chocolate weetabix (HEB + 2), banana, milk (half HEA)
L - beans on toast (HEB) with 21g light cheese (half HEA)
D - pasta with HM sauce (1 for half tsp olive oil) with 21g light cheese (half HEA)

Another stodgy looking day :o Will have some fruit to lighten things up a bit. Will also have some soup if I make it today. Not sure about any more syns.

    Have a good day

it was down for me last night but is working now

    ee day today;

b - venti skinny cap (5), 2 alpen light (heb)
l - pasta with passata and sweetcorn, ff yogurt, mattesons fridge raiders (2.5)
snacks - 2 babybel, caramel snack a jacks (6), 2 apples which i will probably have with lunch.

dinner will probably be salad with breaded fish

does anyone know how many syns a piece of fresh breaded pollock would be? its from morrisons and i cant find in on the syn searcher.
will try to remember to put the numbers through the calculator thingy tonight before i put the rubbish in the bin!

need to go to tesco again but hopefully the whole bag of salad for dinner will make up for the lack of fruit in the day

    morning all

sorry i've been awol for a bit - work's v busy and you guys can't arf talk!!

Had a few bad days (sunday and monday) resulting in a very much deserved loss of ZERO at weigh in this week.

Need to stick 100% this week but at the weekend i'm going out for a friend's party that involves a lot of pubs! will have to work out the exact syns in a pint before i set off - bet it's massive.
The SW book gives syns for 250ml, which is less than half a pint - not very helpful! (who drinks less than a half pint???!?!?!)
I reckon i'm looking at about 12 syns for a pint.

anyway EE day for me today:
    brekkie:
tea, no milk (herbal, to save my hea allowance!)
ww toast with beans, mushrooms, toms and an egg (HEB)

lunch: pasta with tuna and salad (1 syn for mayo)

dinner: spag bol with extra veg
    cheese on top (HEA)
