Breastfeeding at the moment so I have an advantage...my motivation is however great my school management, and they are...I think they are less likely to give promotions to fat people...so I want to go back looking better. Vain, moi??

  • Hey gfh
unfortunately dont have that excuse! Just wanting to fit back into my clothes and feel more comfortable again- especially now the weather is better. Hoping to get some walks in the sun in and also some elbow grease into decorating this week so hoping it will have some effect!!

Nabbed a couple of freebies this week
innocent juice and a voucher for a free toblerone! (not that that will help the above clothes challenge!)
had a few free dinners out at friends the past few days and have cinema tickets to use in the week ...
put extra pay straight into savings account and will update Mortgage-Savings total once all the bills for the house have come out! feeling quite disciplined though!
This coming month could be expensive with a few big presents to buy and also MOT am keeping fingers and toes crossed that wont be too expensive! and is pretty much budgeted for.....going to try and give the car a once over myself (ie. Mrtyo!) to make sure anything avoidable like headlights not working etc.. is rectified before the actual test.
Am looking forward to watching the royal wedding on friday (Im so sad! :rotfl:) wondering if I can find a street party or if mrtyo can be persuaded to stay in and watch it with tea and cakes .... Im thinking he may well rather eat his own arm! :rotfl: :rotfl: ah well still another few days of persuading time left!

    Mornin all
been playing with numbers and moving bits and bobs around so we now have a full holiday fund!!! yay! should pay for some time away in the summer- just need spending money now which shall be the next mission! :rotfl: have about £29 from tcb to come and a few possible things to sell on amazon so that will all go to spending money fund!
am keeping fingers crossed car gets through MOT in the next couple of weeks with no expensive disasters (need to check tyres today to see if they need replacing beforehand) also that bathroom comes in on budget which it should do as no indication so far that it wont!
after that all my yearly spending is DONE and everything else can go into the OP/savings pot-(once I have set up a yearly spends d/d for next year!) should start adding up nicely! present box is overflowing as we speak so only bits and bobs to buy as I go along but nothing massive hopefully!

Oh and I also bought mrtyo a candle making kit for £2 from a charity shop- brand new and his new idea after the soap making enterprise was a non starter - he Im sure will update on how well this is going! at the moment its sitting on the floor covered in stuff! ;)

shopping today to spend spending money and some vouchers- so guilt free shopping! also having a sort out of wardrobe/summer clothes (all over bedroom floor as we speak) so I know what I have and what additions if any I may need! may also use clubcard vouchers for cinema :)
