  • Hi Everyone, new to this thread.
Funny seeing the interest rates way back when this was started, in 2006!
I wonder when/if we'll see those kinds of rates again...

I have $600AUD in savings, which I plan to grow to $15,000 by December 2017.
Looking forward to being Debt Free!
    11/01/2020
    Car Loan $9,250
  • Update...
Several of my accounts are now generating no interest (Halifax terms and conditions change) or less (123 accounts etc).

In any case, today I'm up to £101.5k! By the end of January that will be down to about £100.5k but I'm glad to be over 6 figures... as long as my shares hold out (1/3 of that is in shares......).

I really need to shuffle things up as there's about £15-20k getting no interest right now..!

  • Unfortunately my now fiancee has developed incurable cancer. Money will go to a wedding and the house she always wanted. Makes me realise money isn't everything and don't waste the day - use it toward something you want before it's too late.
