  • December has been a great month, thanks to my October commission which I get end of November, so even with Christmas and some huge expenses, including flights abroad next Year, I managed to save £2367.00, bringing my total house deposit to £32,933. Didn't reach my target of 35k, but I'm happy with amount of savings so far.

    Bring on 2016!!

Yes, I'm very lucky to have a final salary pension with my job, which also pays out a lump sum on retirement.

Congrats on buying your first home, exciting
