Hello dude
I don't think it is a right place to discuss this!0 -
I am on a lowish income of an average £1100 take home pm. I have been saving for two months (for deposit) and have saved £600 so far.
This next pay day I'm hoping to squeeze £400 into the ISA to hit a grand.
Luckily my rent and living costs are quite low where I live in NE Lincolnshire, so I am able to save a fair amount.
I am aiming for a 10% deposit for a house which would be around £5000 - £6000.0 -
I normally put away £1500 a month in savings, its a fair bit but I've cut corners to do it by cycling to work in London (£1700 saved a year) and my monthly shopping bill is £50 month for 2, that's mostly bargain hunting in the reduced bin, Its like a pack of hyena's to a caucus so you gotta be quick to get the good deals0

So many people save lots of money. But not enjoy money itself. In the terms of capitalism, money is for use, not for keeping.0

Id like to join. I only earn around £120-£150 on an average month.
So I'm literally going to be really tight with my money now. Saving for a place to live in about 6-10 years. It seems a long time away but with my current wages even thats a big push to get half way there. It's time to start saving money as I have had enough of spending it.SavingsRepayment: £0/£359.00

Hello all
June update!
My new total is £68,181, so for the first time ever I actually spent more (£77 more) than I earned last month!!!
I know why, though - I booked a holiday for next spring, bit of a blowout but hey. You only live once, and I've had a hectic few months, so needed something to look forward to.

Everyone makes a different amount each month. They also have different financial obligations each month. It is important to realize that one set dollar amount is not going to work for everyone.0

Not posted here for a while but my savings have been increasing steadily, albeit not as much as I'd like as I've booked a few holidays since my last update. Now on £12,652 though and hopefully will break the £13k barrier in the next month or so.ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)0

I'm aiming to save £10K by the end of the year. I was getting close but the summer has made a dent in my progress. Really going to try and hit my target!0
