My ISA interest took me close to £4,900 so I've arranged for a small transfer to top it up to that so I'll be £350 off replacing what was in there. Getting there slowly! I'll be happy to get to £5k as that's the absolute bare minimum I want to have in there as the emergency fund/deposit savings.ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)0

My total savings this month will be very small.
I've paid next year's car insurance today (in a lump sum to prevent the monthly interest) and ::koff koff:: ordered an iPhone.
I know....
But to be honest, it's quite rare I splash out like that on myself, I can afford it and I really, really want it. I've been consumed by total phone-envy because a couple of my friends have new phones - I nearly mugged one of my colleagues for his iPhone4 last week after he let me play with it for a while.
It's back to frugality from tomorrow :rotfl:0 -

Hmm, had a rather expensive car service this month so the savings have stagnated a bit! Oh well, tax return still to come and pay rise recently and annual 4% rise due in August so it's not all doom and gloom! Trying to not buy coffee at work at the moment and emptying all small change from my purse each night to save up and bank - $15 so far! Every penny counts I guess.
Good luck all!Saving hard for Financial Independence0
