I know this is the wrong thread for it but i got some good holiday advice on here before. Going away with gf leaving around the 11th of July for a week. Somewhere cheap, hot and not a totally dump really is our requirements so far. She thinks we can do it all in for £600 each...realistic?

Cheapest realistic holiday iv seen is Bodrum for £427 so £170 each to last a week?

Bearing in mind we will probs have 1 or 2 drinks most nights(no more than that, cant drink much in the heat), breakfast/tea/lunch and food would all need to be included. £25 a day?
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

If you're willing to wait for a very last minute deal you may get something for that amount, admittedly it was prob self catering but I saw a week in Greece for £175 ish.

Anyway back on topic £250 into my regular saver today which is hopefully the year up and I'll be able to shift the money into my main savings account. I know I should shop around for best rate but as all my savings are for a deposit I want them somewhere I can get to them easily.

Once I've sorted the house I'll start saving more cannily including another regular saver as that was a very painless way of protecting £3000 which is exactly the amount I want to invest i some art in the next year or two (once I've got a new living room wall to put it on!)

    Haha nice one :)

Waiting for the end of this month but so far so good. I have managed to over budget for petrol and not spend so much by not going home and seeing family. 2 birds with 1 stone (:rotfl:)

Also managed not go out as much this month, budgeted £200, only spent £95 so far, but I think that will go up a little tomorrow afternoon ;)

So far so good, waiting end of month for any celebrations though!
