Painfully I parted with my life savings to buy a new car as mine was getting old.
I paid extra to get a newer reg and lower milage and to go to a "reputable dealer" - Polar ford.
I have had endless problems with them but the biggest one being I picked up the car 6 days ago (wednesday) and only been able to drive it for 3 of those days as it died on saturday. And basically they don't care.....
it's been in the repair shop since yesterday, i was supposed to be getting a call to pick it up today but havent heard anything. i'm not happy at all.
What i thought was going to be a good investment and a car i'd enjoy has turned into a nightmare. I feel like i've thrown all my savings down the drain.
Please cheer me up! i want to save like ive never saved before now to make myself feel better0 -

On a more promising note, a quick Google of "Polar Ford" shows that they are one of York County Council's approved traders (!), which probably means that you should contact the council's trading standards department and complain about the service (or lack thereof) that you've received...

Payday is just a week away so will let everyone know my savings soon. I've been very good this month:TCompetion Wins 2008 - £1700 - 2009 £5300
2010- £6800 -
Awwwwwww! Hugs! You may have spent your savings but at least you didn't get into debt for the car, which, had you not had any savings, you'd have had to do.
