It will be great getting an extra zero on the end
As im now at 8750, im going to work hard this month to make it up to 9000 before my next pay day.
So that is £250 i need to make or squeeze out of my budget. That target is prolly crazy but if i have a spend free month and sell a few things on ebay, i may have a chance.Mortgage Free 22/03/17

I am having a really bad month... so many things need paying for... I'm out of money and spending on my credit cards - all unplanned necessaries - so I'll have a nasty bunch of bills next month... I've already spent more than I'll earn this month, so I'll have to dig into my savings.Target Cash Net Worth: £25K by January 2012

Just paid off the final installment of the car loan (was only for 6 months), so that means that cash can now be added to the savings pot! :money:0

Rent day! And there's an extra £100 in my current account (thank you, month off paying council tax) so that's going into my ISA. Along with my regular savings of £200 after payday, that puts me on £400"Every single person has at least one secret that would break your heart. The new tax year starts on 6th April, not the 1st.
If you read her post right, she is going to try and put the full amount in before the end of the tax year (i.e. she already has £2,000 to put in but wants to save up £1.6k so she will be able to add the full amount this tax year), and then *quote*i want to get the money for next years isa*quote* (saved up)
So in essance she is saying she wants to get the full allowance ready for the 1st April to put it into the ISA before the 6th April.
Thats how I read her post anyway.Save £12K IN 2013 Member #217 £3654.88/£6,000 (60%)

Well its better than doing something that you shouldn't. A lot of people don't know when the tax year is, better to get things right first time eh0
