Welcome aboard Vixstar
Yeah I just check the balance every month to see where it's up to, I don't plan on paying it off any quicker than I have to either but it does give me a good incentive to save as much as I can. Need all the motivation I can get!“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
Can I join you? I'm saving towards a house deposit as I don't think the equity in my current one will go far. I currently have about £3700 saved and would like to set an initial target of £10000. I'm aiming to save about 40% of my monthly income eventually with a little help from the forum.
Welcome to the 10k ClubSeems like £10k is the target to go for on here
Since everyone else is doing it, I'll do a savings update too. Managed to save a whopping 38% of my net income this month. That's £440I've also managed to make a bit from Quidco over the last few months which is filtering into my account and going straight to the car insurance fund.

I keep signing up for the bingo / gambling sites. Have a look through Quidco, there's loads on there. Obviously only go for the ones where you make a profit. For example, Jackpot Joy were offering £25 cashback for a £10 deposit, so that £15 profit straight away. I'm keeping a list of the accounts I've opened and close them once Quidco's cleared.0

Just had a pondering moment - thinking how nice it would be to have accrued a big stash of wonga (LOL) and be able to almost live off the monthly interest.
I am sure I am not the only one.
Ps. Still up for that challenge Lucy?

Yes of course! Sorry, I missed your last post, I've been a little bit less active the last few weeks.
In the first few weeks of January, I set myself a mini target, of hitting £10K by the end of March.... well, one thing after another has happened, and that's now impossible. Will make it by end of April if I'm lucky. I think I am going to make my first loss since May 2008 this month, which I'm not happy about! Oh well, can't be helped.
Still, according to my predictions, I'll hit £20k by August 2010, so I'm trying to focus on the bigger picture - winning the race!! Haha!
Anyone here tried Dooyoo??? It's my new moneymaking toy.Target Cash Net Worth: £25K by January 2012

Is that where you get paid to write reviews of products?
I was always tempted to do stuff like that but I never buy anything so would be pointless lol.0
