That will come with the first house and the bank account being wiped out!

Sounds good - It's always good to have a plan on what you're saving for, rather than just saving for savings sake (IMHO).

That's where we're aiming for too...first house...empty account, but probably not til 2010.

W00P finally have hit the £20,000 mark. That is a miracle for me and I'm still on target to reach £30,000 by the end of 2009

  • Aww sorry to hear this JimLad :( :grouphug:
  • That sounds like a familiar story markalun. I always end up around £50-£80 into my overdraft due to being too optimistic with my savings.
  • Seems to have been a REALLY long month! just been paid today! 3 times!!!

Ive revised my savings plan for this year again:

    Pension £150 per month
    Premium Bonds £150 per month

And Im also going to open a HSBC regular saver and pay £250 into that, seems to be only place i get can get a decent rate besides my A+L premier direct account. Iif i have abit of a 'skint' month I will just cut the amount of Premium bonds I buy!!! Hope nothing crops up and I can stick to the plan!!!!
